Udon Entertainment revealed at its panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday that it will release the first volume of Riyoko Ikeda's The Rose of Versailles manga in December. The remaining four volumes are slated to ship three or four months apart. Udon Entertainment exclusively provided ANN with the cover art for all five volumes of the release.

The company said that all five omnibus volumes of the manga have been localized, and the localization is now waiting for Ikeda Production's approval. The company also said:
It has been a very long process for us because of how important this book is to UDON. We decided to actually finish the translation and localization work and lettered the whole series, so we can can cross-check all the details in the 82 chapters and side stories to make sure a lot of historical character and location's name are correct, before we start planning on the release. What it means is that we will be sure that we can stick to a release schedule, and also ensure that there is no mistake or back tracking on the localization. We are very proud of the end results. Every sound effect is also localized and touched up too to match with the original look of the Japanese edition.
Udon Entertainment said in January 2018 that "80% of the whole series" had been translated. The company said it was working on editing, lettering for the first volume, and cover designs.

Udon Entertainment announced in July 2015 that it had licensed the manga series and planned to release the first two-in-one omnibus volume in the second quarter of 2016, but has not yet released the manga.

In addition, Udon Entertainment announced the Street Fighter #100 project, as well as the Monster Hunter 3 Illustrations, Udon's Art of CAPCOM 3, How to Make CAPCOM Fighting Characters, Street Fighter Memorial Archive: Beyond the World, Street Fighter: World Warrior Encyclopedia - Arcade Edition, Street Fighter: Swimsuit Special Collection, Mega Man: Robot Masters Field Guide Updated Edition, and Mikulife: Kei's Hatsune Miku Illustration Works art books.
