    - UDON Entertainment: 2017 | 12:30pm - 1:30pm
    UDON Entertainment is known for publishing high-quality art books, manga, comics, and now collectible items. Erik Ko (chief of operations) and Matt Moylan (director of publishing) discuss all the exciting new projects planned for 2017-2018, including a new Street Fighter comic announcement, new art book reveals, and a few other surprises!
    - Netflix Films: Bright and Death Note | 3:15pm - 4:30pm
    Netflix presents a special sneak peek at David Ayer's new action-thriller film, Bright, set in an alternate present-day where humans, orcs, elves, and fairies have been coexisting since the beginning of time. Stars Will Smith, Joel Edgerton, Noomi Rapace, Lucy Fry, and ?dgar Ram?rez, and director David Ayer will debut exclusive footage from the film and answer audience questions. Attendees will also be treated to a first look at the new movie Death Note, based on the famous Japanese manga written by Tsugumi Ohba and Takeshi Obata. Cast and filmmakers from this edgy thriller will debut footage and share details of the project's transition from fan-favorite graphic novel to film
    - Viz Media Panel | 4:00pm - 5:00pm
    The VIZ crew talks about some of your favorite manga titles, including Naruto, One-Punch Man, Tokyo Ghoul, Sailor Moon, and much more. They'll also be making announcements, showing off exclusive first looks at new titles, and giving away prizes.
    - Manga Publishing Pros Industry Roundtable | 5:00pm - 6:00pm
    For over 30 years, manga has had its share of challenges in North America. But with more titles available in English on the same day as Japan and more variety available in both print and digital formats, manga is definitely here to stay and on the rise once more. Get a taste of what's hot, what's not, and what's next for manga in North America and Japan from top publishing pros, including Leyla Aker (senior vice president of publishing, VIZ Media), Ben Applegate (associate director of publisher services, Penguin Random House), Erik Ko (chief of operations, Udon Entertainment), and perhaps a few special guests. Moderated by David Brothers (4thletter!, Comics Alliance).
    - Funimation Industry Panel | 6:00pm - 7:00pm
    Hear the latest news, info, and announcements about everything from Akira to Dragon Ball Z with North America's largest anime distributor, Funimation.
    - Lost in Translation | 7:00pm - 8:00pm
    The economy is steadily growing stronger and so are sales of manga and anime. But are the steady sales helping all the portions of the industry? And with the renewed interest in manga out there, are there enough quality series to feed the hunger, or is there a danger of oversaturation? Freelancers and industry insiders discuss the art and business of translated entertainment, share stories, and take audience questions. Then let the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations voices of Boruto, Sarada, and Mitsuki regale you as they discuss what it's like working on this popular series.
    - Manga Superheroes? Super Differences Between Japan and the US | 5:00pm - 6:00pm
    From Astro Boy to Ultraman, Sailor Moon to One-Punch Man, the super-powered characters of manga, anime, and live-action tokusatsu TV shows wear costumes and fight bad guys, but how do they differ from their U.S. counterparts, and how do they reflect differences in U.S. and Japanese societies, values, and politics?     The global manga publisher Kodansha Comics is here with exciting new series and new editions of classics, including Akira, Sailor Moon, The Ghost in the Shell, and Battle Angel Alita, with a special appearance by Eisner-nominated Princess Jellyfish editor Yuki Sukemune. Enjoy a rare opportunity to speak with someone involved in the Japanese manga production process, as well as editors and localizers for your favorite manga, including Fairy Tail, Noragami, and Attack on Titan, plus free books and promo items!

    - Dark Horse Manga | 3:00pm - 4:00pm
    This year marks the 30th anniversary of the manga industry in North America-an industry born from the love of comics fans and comics publishers for the work of Japanese creators. Dark Horse was one of the manga pioneers in the 1980s and continues to publish Japanese titles ranging from Danganronpa, Cardcaptor Sakura, and Unofficial Hatsune Mix to I Am a Hero, Lone Wolf and Cub, and Berserk. Join Carl Horn (editor), Michael Gombos (director of international publishing and licensing), and Megan Walker (assistant editor) for a look at the past, present, and future of manga at Dark Horse.
    - Starship Troopers: Traitor of Mars | 7:30pm - 8:30pm
    Just in time for the 20th anniversary of the original Starship Troopers (1997), fans will experience the next chapter in the cult franchise with the all-new, CG-animated movie, Starship Troopers: Traitor of Mars. Written by Ed Neumeier, who crafted the screenplay for the original Starship Troopers, Traitor of Mars serves as a direct storyline sequel to the live-action, 1997 movie. Fans will hear directly from filmmakers, including director Shinji Aramaki, co-director Masaru Matsumoto, and producer Joseph Chou, and franchise star Casper Van Dien as they debut never-before-seen footage and discuss the return of iconic fan-favorite characters Johnny Rico and Dizzy Flores, all ahead of the film?s fall release. The panel will be moderated by Stephen Kramer Glickman (comedian/actor).
