Looks like Sunrise is treating the 35th anniversary right. I'll be sure to watch all the Universal Century essentials in anticipation for this onslaught.

via SUNRISE industry panel @ NYCC (http://4NN.cx/134054)
Aniplex of America will release the Blu-ray Disc for the first season in 2014.
Tiger & Bunny The Movie –The Rising- will get its theatrical release in Japan on February 8, 2014. The film takes place after the television anime series. Viz Media has licensed the film. Hagino noted that there is a Tiger & Bunny event that is being held on Saturday in Japan, and she said she hopes Viz Media can talk about that event at its Viz Animation/Neon Alley panel at NYCC on Saturday evening.

Niiiice. I expected that but that's nice.

And yeah, let's get some unreleased Gundam on Gundaminfo/Daisuki. Or released Gundam. The first series feels like it's missing from there.

                Re: SUNRISE '13 panel

Just a refresher (taken from Otakon).

                15:07:06 <bay|Ota|Sunrise> Mobile Suit Gundam 35th anniversary
15:07:16 <bay|Ota|Sunrise> unfortunately we don't have footage to go with this
15:07:29 <bay|Ota|Sunrise> next year, 2014,is the 35th anniversary of the gundam franchise
15:07:42 <bay|Ota|Sunrise> and in honor of this, there are 2 projects right now in the planning stages
15:07:55 <bay|Ota|Sunrise> and one of them is yoshiyuki tomino's latest work
15:08:06 <bay|Ota|Sunrise> and the other is the Gundam: the origin in an animated form
15:08:26 <bay|Ota|Sunrise> and these two shows are planned to be unveiled to the public in 2014-2015
15:08:40 <bay|Ota|Sunrise> you might think i'm not being accurate giving 2 years as release times
15:08:56 <bay|Ota|Sunrise> sunrise has an occassional tendency of falling behind schedule so i'm hedging my bets
15:09:03 <bay|Ota|Sunrise> but the quality will be high

                  Re: SUNRISE '13 panel

Yeah Im still doubtful they could do all three in 2014.

I guess fall for gundam origin is realistic, since well gundam build fighters is here and assuming it could be 26 episodes, theyd have a break for spring/summer season (unless gundams have started back to back before?)

By the by, iirc Sunrise said at NYCC that Build Fighters would be 25 episodes. #g_bf
