    Production IG founder Ishikawa says "FLCL 2&3 is like what if Bones and IG collaborated" and says the president of Bones feels the same

    Staff for FLCL 2&3:

    Supervising Director: Katsuyaki Momotaro
    Char Design: Chikashi Kubota
    Script: Hideto Iwai
    Mech Design: Kiyotaka Oshima
    Tsurumaki is "Supervisor" and Sadamoto is "Original Character Designer." They're focusing on new animators rather than old staff. #AX2017
    Some staff from Trigger and Khara are working on FLCL 2 & 3. Some episode directors are ex-Gainax. #AX2017
    The two FLCL series will be entirely separate stories. #AX2017
    Ishikawa from I.G says the idea in FLCL 2 & 3 is "what if I.G collaborated with BONES and made FLCL." #AX2017

    Sorry for the camera! Holding a phone is tough! Big news though. There will be a manga made and there will be a break in between #FLCL 2 & 3

          Studio Trigger panel

          First project is with A-1 Pictures. Original anime, Darling in the Frankxx. Science fiction series.
          Character designer, director, and other details for Darling in the Frankxx revealed on July 5

          The next project by Studio Trigger is SSSS Gridman by director Akira Amemiya. Collaboration with the Ultraman company.
          It will be Studio Trigger's take on Ultraman. The director is the same one behind Inferno Cop. Oh man.

          And the third project by Studio Trigger is the latest from the Kill la Kill and Gurren Lagann team, Promare!
          Hiroyuki Imaishi and Kazuki Nakashima working on Promare. Blue haired guy carrying a large wooden umbrella.
          Promare, a new series, will be like Gurren Lagann and Kill la Kill in design. Main protagonist is male. Video message from director shown.
          Shigeto Koyama is the character artist for Promare. In development for four years now. Director kept tearing up his scripts.

            The official Japanese website for the FLCL 2 and FLCL 3 sequel projects revealed on Monday that the two projects in Japan will be theatrical films. The first film will open in Japan in 2018.

            The anime will still be show in the United States as two six-episode television series.

                    Warner Bros. Japan Plans U.S. Theatrical Release for Haikara-san ga Tooru Films

                    Warner Bros. Japan announced at its Anime Expo panel on Monday that it is planning to release the upcoming the anime film adaptations of Waki Yamato's Haikara-san ga Tooru manga in United States theaters with English subtitles. The company confirmed its plans with ANN but noted that no release date has been set, as the release dates have not yet been confirmed in Japan.

                          Steins;Gate Gets 'World Line Project' Launching in 2018-2019

                          "The gate to 'Zero'" teased with Beta World Line, with more info teased on July 28

                          Production company Kadokawa revealed at its Anime Expo booth on Sunday that there is a "Steins;Gate World Line Project" launching in the "2018-2019" timeframe. Kadokawa showed a teaser with the Steins;Gate 0 logo and the characters Rintarō Okabe and Mayuri Shiina (in her Steins;Gate 0 outfit) standing before the devastated original Radio Kaikan building with the crashed satellite. The video teased the Beta world line where Rintarō could not save "her" and "the gate to 'Zero' will be opened." The company will reveal more information on July 28 - a date crucial to the story.

                          The company did not specify if the project is an anime, game, or another medium, or if there will be more than one project.
