AX 2011: Possible Purchases

All of the industry panels at this year's AX have been conducted and with that, we know all of the licenses from this con. So now that we know what's coming out, here is a poll of all DVD and BD licenses (although Clannad has been released by Sentai, they are releasing the BD version for the first time ever), as well as one stream-only license in Sacred Seven that will probably be distributed by the same studio at some point in the future. This does not include any stream-only licenses by Crunchyroll since they do not distribute DVDs themselves. So to recap:

Unlike last year's poll where I am asking you what you intend to buy, to make things easier on you I am asking you what you are buying for sure or thinking about buying this time around.

Madoka is really the only thing that caught my interest. I'll have to do some research on the other titles. I'm not familiar with most of them.

Two definites and a whole lotta maybes.

NISA:
Dororon Enma-kun - Maybe. But currently leaning no. Though this has virtually no chance of receiving one, a dub would push it up a little; I believe this show has lot to gain from a good dub. More than anything else NISA has licensed before.
Kimi ni Todoke - Maybe. Need to try it first.

Nozomi:
Nadesico - Maybe. I've heard about it for ages. Blu-ray would increase the odds.

Aniplex:
Blue Exorcist - Strongly leaning no, but won't completely rule out the possiblity as I haven't seen it yet, but do have some interest in trying it out. I don't understand their release strategy.
Puella Magi Madoka Magica - Pretty much definite, but it really comes down to price and release format. I'm willing to shell out a small premium (<$200) if it arrives on Blu-ray, especially with a dub. Not nearly so much for a sub-only DVD, even if it came in a sexy package.

Funimation:
Asobi ni Ikuyo! - Maybe. Need to try it first.
B Gata H Kei - Maybe. Need to try it first.
Baka and Test season 2 - Maybe. Need to see the first season, which is on pre-order.
[C] - Maybe. Need to try it first.
Deadman Wonderland - Maybe. Need to try it first.
Last Exile: Fam, the Silver Wing - Maybe. Need to see the original, which I own.

To be perfectly honest I'm not really thinking about buying much at all on that list. It just goes to show how lackluster this year's AX was in terms of announcements. I will say that I am mildly interested in the 3rd Bleach movie, however I'd never buy it until I've seen it air on TV or something, and determined that it's actually worth owning. Also, I have a mild interest in Puella Magi Madoka Magica, merely because I know how big of a show it is. However I'd need to see some more release details like the format and the price of Aniplex's release before I determine if it is worth buying. Finally (and this is probably what I have the most interest in), I do think I will eventually check out Bandai's Sacred Seven simulcast. I saw the trailer and it seemed quite interesting, and it won't cost anything to watch.

As far as whether or not Bandai's other announcements should be included in the poll, if you consider release date details for upcoming releases to be important enough (I do, and I know I'll be buying a couple of those releases), then I'd include them.

I just added the poll. I decided to included Clannad BD, Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya, and Turn A Gundam on this poll as far as previously announced licenses go. With Clannad, the BD announcement is new and important. And this is the first announcement for DVD/BD release dates for Disappearance and Turn A Gundam, which I find are big news. So make your votes.

You probably should have kept Dirty Pair movie/OVAs/Flash separate. Not everyone will want the 3 boxset releases. Sacred Seven is streaming license right now. Ro-Kyu-Bu is probably in the same boat as well.
