Does anyone know when Funimation decided to shut down Operation Anime, their "free stuff for clubs" program? I'm not running our local anime screening program anymore, but I'm curious when the decision actuallly came down.

I would imagine that it would be fairy recent. The link is up on one of the FUNimation.com dropdown menus.

Or you can go directly here http://www.operationanime.com/

It's pretty clear why they closed it down from that. Funimation seems to figure most people can get their anime from Hulu,YouTube, or Funimation proper and they don't need to do the clubs anymore. They're still arranging screening permissions and I'm sure there is much more to this than what I just said but that is what they're basically what the message is saying to me on the site.
