        It just looks to me like a cleaner-than-DVD version of an early low-res digipaint show sourced from composite masters with no filtering. In other words, exactly what it should look like.

        But also, not what some people would "want" it to look like or think it "should" look like, which is why companies like Q-tec and FUNimation get away with their blurry shenanigans.

        Frankly, I'm still more concerned about the poor authoring and broken pulldown or whatever it was that resulted in the visible interlacing and combing that people were highlighting in other Sentai SD on BD releases, and whether or not they've wised up and swallowed their pride enough to fix that basic issue as pros like Justin Sevakis seem to have no problem with. None of the screencaps seem to show that issue with this release, but that's not really what this person zeroed in on, so there's no way to tell if those screencaps are a representative sample or not.
