    Breaking News! Media Blasters and AnimeWorks has re-licensed and acquired HD rights to Osamu Tezuka's Phoenix: Perfect Collection! Plans are underway for a complete collection to be issued for the first time on Blu-ray as well as a remastered DVD, both sourced from a new film to HD transfer. The 2019 release date is yet to be determined so stayed tuned for updates!

    So...how many times will THIS release be delayed??!!

    Still waiting on a Yamibo Blu release that still hasn't happened.

            Just so no one freaks out: There's been some issues with the Ending song missing on some versions Internationally recently. I'm hoping this won't be an issue with Media Blasters' release, but Media Blasters hasn't commented about it (and I'm not sure how easy they are to get into contact nowadays), so just proceed with caution on this regarding that.

              Well, the DVD release had a bad video glitch [took like 3 times for me to get a working copy!! >_< ] so if the Blu has issues too, it's par for the course with this title.

                There were reported playback issues on some players as well. I wouldn't be surprised if later print runs were DVD-Rs.
