A second season has just been announced today on a promo poster for the Japanese BD release. Seeing that this manga is so popular, all while there's a lot more story to tell that it would have been enough for another season that it was inevitable. It will be coming sometime in 2020, and I expect there to be some announcement at the end of the broadcast coming later today.

I was certainly hopeful that the second season would be announced with the finale. They've got plenty of material for another few cour, but I'll gladly take one each year to keep the quality at this level.

Glad to get the complete first season in one release for a decent price (for Aniplex). Nothing extravagant here, but hopefully it's a nice enough release. Sounds like it could be similar to their March Comes in Like a Lion releases to me, which I'd be happy with as long as it's comparably classy.

Couldn' tell completely, but that was a chipboard/rigid box right? If so, nice! Also the gold foil for the description on the back is pretty neat.

I believe it's a slipcase rather than rigid box. AoA generally notes it if rigid box is included.

^ Boo, that's a massive disappointment. Was hoping to be pleasantly surprised like the March comes in like a lion and ERASED sets which both had rigid/chipboard artboxes despite the description not mentioning it at all.

Just what I thought after seeing that video and the box looking thin. That sucks seeing that this is a show that Aniplex promoted so heavily, and usually those shows get them.
