    DAGASHIKASHI
    Simulcast & Broadcast Dub

Kokonotsu “Coconuts” Shikada dreams of becoming a famous manga artist. The only problem—he’s terrible. His real talent is selling the complex and delicious snacks in his father’s “dagashi” shop. He never thought much about the family business until the trendy, eccentric Hotaru showed up. As a lover of “dagashi,” she can’t let his talent go to waste and decides she won’t stop ‘til she’s sold him on sweets.

Wait, isn't that a PonyCan title? I thought PonyCan is involved in this?
Avatar: Sizuru Nakatsu from Rewrite! (if the anime and VN gets an English dub, Faye Mata should voice this character)

They do the music production, but international rights are most likely from TBS. TBS usually works with Sentai, but FUNi has started licensing some series from them in recent seasons (starting with Dandelion, and now this).

I feel Hotaru pulling me in. Nooo! her arms and hands! The female characters look interesting.

That was a rather surprising announcement there. There's the fact that Pony Canyon is on the production team, and TBS shows usually go to Sentai. This didn't have the feel of a Funimation license, and certainly it's one of those shows whose dub prospects I felt were borderline at best. Anyway, the lead female looks pretty interesting. While this show airs on Thursdays in Japan, it's probably going to air on another day.

It confused me seeing Saturday at first, since they managed to get episode 2 up on Friday for subscribers last week, but then I see the time is in JST. So, it essentially is Friday evening for those in US.
