Sorry for posting twice, but I checked some stuff on RetroCrush this afternoon. Some of the anime don't have song translations, others do.

I apologize for bumping a dead topic, but I checked Crunchyroll's streams of VS Knight Lamune & Fire and the opening doesn't have a song translation. Not sure about Discotek's Blu Ray.

(Also to note, I apologize for my 'i want to know' posts. I was very different on these forums back in 2015. Man, things have changed.)

Sorry for the wait! The theme songs ARE NOT subtitled. BOO!! Also, the subtitles are locked. I can't remember if that's mentioned in the other thread so I'll add that note if it isn't already.

^ I'll have to dig out my copy so if no one else responds, I'll check for you tomorrow. (Thursday).

Funi's release of Rainbow Days has untranslated OP/EDs.

It looks like the first post could use an update.

Seems like Kantai Collection doesn't have them translated, according to this review:

I mentioned this somewhere else, but the Bluray release of the Ranma Movies/OVAs had all untranslated OP/EDs (unless you count the few OPs that were dubbed).

Interesting. The opening for Attack on Titan: Junior High was also left untranslated, though the ending was subtitled. Something must have changed with licensing in-between each release.

Also the opening and ending songs aren't translated on the textless credits either for Season 2.

I don't get why they do it like that. It should be the other way around where the theme songs are translated during the episodes, but untranslated in the textless version. At least subs aren't locked with Aniplex releases, but that is quite a pain when the subs are locked like with most Funimation releases where they are known for keeping the translated texts even with the clean theme songs.

I can confirm Kiznaiver has untranslated OP/ED during the episodes but is translated in the clean OP/ED.
