Yeah, I bought the Steelbook earlier today when Best Buy opened up and can confirm his Q&A is gone along with any interview footage that may have been recorded and meant for the first 3 extras.

Also the DVD doesn't have any extras at all except the Trailers.

I had thought it was strange that it was listed in the first place with all the stuff going on. Makes much more sense to have it removed.

        • Kinda annoying Wal-Mart never bothered promoting the thing, I didn't even know about it myself until after I got the Steelbook on Tuesday and saw a video of them yesterday.

Funimation didn't promote it either (at least I didn't see it). They did promote Best Buy and FYE.

Did FYE's release come with anything?

Funimation provided ANN with an official response on Monday to fan reports that its Blu-ray Disc release of the Dragon Ball Super: Broly film has a green tint. The company said:
Funimation's home entertainment release of "Dragon Ball Super: Broly" utilized the same master as the U.S. & Canadian movie release. It is identical to what audiences watched in North American theaters earlier this year.

                      • I'm willing to give Funi the benefit of the doubt on this one. This reeks of typical Toei stupidity.

                        • I say both companies are at fault, we don't need to explain Toei's incompetence again but FUNi is not blameless here either.

-There's an English master without the green tint that exists and both Manga UK & Madman have it. FUNi should have double-checked when working on their own disc, even if it meant delaying their release a few months.

-There was a mis-translation in the subs which made it's way to FUNi's dub. The last notable botch by Simmons was with episode 2 of Super (which got fixed for the discs) but regardless, FUNi should have had him double-check the movie's sub script like Manga UK did after being informed about it and fixing that for their release.

-The audio mixing for some reason was really bad here, I had heard there were issues with the audio for the theatrical screenings but with the Blu-ray, it requires turning up the volume a lot more than usual to actually hear it. I haven't had to turn the volume up this high since their craptastic Eva 3.33 release years ago.

                          • While Funimation isn't off the hook on this one, at least they were handcuffed by Toei this time around as they are the ones at fault for the quality control this time around. That said, Funimation should have been more proactive about this considering how well it's selling.
