  • Some strange names there. (Witch and Gundam? uhhh) I wondered why that episode from 0079 didn't sound familiar at all and after looking it up, I didn't realize *that* was the episode that Tomino wanted excised from existence. So that's so cool that Yasuhiko is going back and putting a new take on it. Looking forward to that very much.

    • So, Yas probably thinks he won't live long enough to remake all of the original 0079 in a complete The Origin series, but he can at least remake the one episode that was so bad it got deleted from history? That's incredible. Anything directed by Yasuhiko is nearly always anime gold, so I'm quite looking forward to it as well.

A side story of “SD GUNDAM WORLD” will start this winter!

The new story focuses on the “Knight World”, with the main character being the Knight Strike Gundam, who has to overcome many ordeals.

A plastic kit of the main character will be released, too!
Stay tuned for more information on the story as well as further announcements on how this project will be released!

                  • In regards to the Gundam Seed Bluray replacement discs. Got it months ago. Just lol forgot if I swapped them out of the original cases or not. Any know happen to know the discs numbers. To identify which discs are the fixed discs vs the original discs?

What, like look for numbers along the reverse side of the disc hub? Seems to me I used to have to do that when dealing with customer service.

I just looked at disc 1 of each set, but couldn't make out a god damned bloody thing. The markings could have been numbers, letters or even digital bricks.

The inserts themselves were clearly labeled as replacement; I can't imagine why you'd have wanted to take the discs out and swap them.

There is a set of numbers on the edge of each disc. The replacements have HV at the end of the number set. The HV stands for Home Video.

                          • It appears I could have been more helpful. 😥 I see it now. It was suddenly driving me bonkers that my eyesight couldn't make out the backside.

I wanted the replacement discs to go into the original cases the set came in and move the botched discs kept separate. The discs themselves are not labeled as such unless you look at the press number. HV identification was helpful to tell the difference.

I gotcha. They definitely thought of everything. I'd spent months visualizing a scenario just like what you described... would the replacements come in identical packaging, new packaging or paper sleeves, would I have to switch them out, and could I be clear with myself what I had done with them. I even figured if the cases were identical I'd mark the older ones with little white "dot" gift-wrapping stickers in the corner. Trick to reliable memory would be to not be hasty. Well, I couldn't have been more relieved with the way they came out. I'm glad they took the labeling one step further to help out in your case.
