DURARARA!! is back! The English dub of the 3rd Arc of DURARARA!!x2 will start streaming on Crunchyroll (www.Crunchyroll.com) on March 15th! Two weeks shy of the finale. Glad to head it's finally coming though. Since it debuts a few weeks later than the previous two cours, I was concerned they may not have bothered with a near-simultaneous dub this time around.

Two weeks shy of the finale. Glad to head it's finally coming though. Since it debuts a few weeks later than the previous two cours, I was concerned they may not have bothered with a near-simultaneous dub this time around.

The dub for the 3rd Arc was coming no matter what honestly, The US website's Staff/Cast section listed Alex von David as the ADR director of the 3rd arc since December.

As for the big delay compared to the first two arcs, Alex's tweets have lined out over the past several weeks that the amount of work he puts into the series is staggering. Besides having to adapt each episode's script week to week, he's also been having to direct the home video versions the 2nd Arc's episodes which also necessitates rewrites due to the changed up animation/lip flaps. He'll be getting a nicely deserved break when it's all over and done with and his hard work will certainly pay off considering how amazing Durarara's dub is and how his work on the 2nd Arc went.

The Boob Shadows would certainly be a gang not to mess with considering who the leader would be. After all, she has a way of punishing those who put the gang up through the crap that's going on in this show unlike with Mikado.

Anyway, that was a bit later than usual seeing that for the past two seasons, it had began following the 8th episode. But nevertheless, it's coming and I plan to marathon it once all of the dubbed episodes are out just like I did with the two cours before it (though this time, it won't serve as a refresher going into the next arc as this is it).

It probably more likely that RightStuf just didn't get any copies in before the release date but Vol. 5 is listed as Out of Stock.
