Very nice ratings this past Saturday. Glad to see InuYasha The Final Act passing 1 million too!

Wow whats wrong with people? This was one of the best Sword Art Online 2 episodes, people got a Kirito who doesnt excel at everything which is what they wanted. They ought to have swarmed to the episode. And personally it was Kiritos best agility moment. I guess people are jealous of Kiritos great skills that they are angered to not watch, ugh. So many jealous people in the tag when it was airing.

Also does toonami always replay reviews so much, was annoying seeing it three times in one and a half hours.

DBZ 8 PM slot isn't doing too hot anymore. Still "okay" ratings but it seems to be getting lower on a weekly basis lately. Midnight airing is hanging strong at 1.5 million as it has been for a while now.

Decent night overall but probably could have been better after the first 3 shows.

New record, albeit not by much. Appropriate to get these ratings just as we get a very relevant announcement for the franchise.

KLK set a new personal best, if I'm not mistaken. Midnight DBZ shattered the previous high for any show on Toonami (but just barely), and the 8PM rerun even topped a million after floundering a bit for the last few weeks. I wonder what led to that? Movie at the tail end of CN? Then again, the whole network seems to have gotten a sizeable bump last weekend.

Sword Art Online II is doing fabulously. Im glad Aniplex has once again proven that LN based anime are what is needed on American TV. Look at those SAO numbers. If they put Mahouka Koukou in the future, DRRR!! x2, Mekaku City Actors, then the numbers could be even higher. Though that isnt to say that its just because it is an LN but because of the masterful writing and a lead character that we all wish we could be. Kirito is done so well he reminds us of what it means to truly be human. This episode in particular was pretty impressive for Kirito showing that swords are the best weapon even in a gun based shooter. With excellent masterful skill and great determination even we too could rise above the call of duty and beat all expectations. It was very inspirational and left me in tears at how gorgeously written it was. And then that ending, what a way to make sure we come back for more next week. Without a doubt one of the best episodes of anime on Toonami since Ive started watching (live).

Mahouka is already being released sub-only. It's also too dialogue-heavy for Toonami(the onii-sama stuff doesn't seem to bother them though since SAO didn't have any complaints). DRRRR already flopped on Adult Swim, Toonami isn't going to lose money twice on that property.

I haven't seen Mekaku City Actors but I just don't see that drawing much of an audience on Adult Swim. Aldnoah Zero maybe....but not Mekaku City.

[Also Tatsuya makes Kirito look like a wimp ]

                      EDIT:
Tuna, I also agree with you that a SAO marathon would be better than a KLK one:

I hadn't realized that Toonami was planning one for Memorial Day weekend.

DBZ Kai is straight up killing it at 8PM and midnight. Bounced back big time after a slight slouch in ratings for the past 2 weeks, good to see. The rest of the night did fantastic too, really good!

This marathon should pull in decent ratings but nothing spectacular. KLK is popular enough to score them above 700,000+ for the entire night I'd say, especially with leaving DBZ at the front.
