- "...if Index and Railgun are going to be on Blu-ray?"
- "Probably eventually..." It's just that some of the stuff (some of the titles) won't perform (just won't sell) on Blu-ray. We put out Samurai 7...sold great. We put out Heroic Age...sold great. We put Ouran...bombed on Blu-ray.

I figured to create a separate thread for this. Quick note: the R1 DVD prefix tag is just referring to the North American license (since home video info hasn't been revealed yet).
Here is what's known so far for the A Certain Magical Index license...
The series webpage also lists the copyright:
If the copyright is 100% accurate, it means that FUNimation also have INDEX II. EDIT in regards to the copyright: via FUNimation Facebook page...
It remains to be seen when the series will be solicited/released. I guess with the little information that's revealed today, it's a tiny step to the right direction.

- License announced back on 07/02/2010 (AX).
- Series webpage (http://www.funimation.com/a-certain-magical-index) was launched today @ FUNimation.com.
- The first two subbed streaming episodes are also now available for EVS members.
The series webpage also lists the copyright:
© KAZUMA KAMACHI/ASCII MEDIA WORKS/PROJECT-INDEX © KAZUMA KAMACHI / ASCII MEDIA WORKS / PROJECT- INDEX Ⅱ. Licensed by FUNimation® Productions, Ltd. All Rights Reserved.
Actually, both seasons of Index are under the same copyright. That's why the copyright looks like that on the page. We don't have season 2.
