Critical Mass Video Announces July 2012 Releases
Posted on: Wednesday, March 28, 2012

Titles from Critical Mass Video’s July 2012 release slate are now available for pre-order and include Meiking and a complete collection for Cool Devices. This July, Cool Devices will also be available via four stand-alone DVD volumes, so fans can pick and choose their favorites from the anthology’s stories.

Is there a misprice on the Cool Devices singles?

The MSRP for the singles are $9.99 each, while the collection is $49.99. Something isn't adding up here. As it stands right now, it's much cheaper to go after the singles than the collection.

TRSI now has the price of the complete collection at $29.99 (with MSRP of $49.99 of course), so it is indeed cheaper to get the complete collection.

Have only seen parts of this. Was there anything that was (or could be) cut from the show?

Yesterday, the singles were priced at $5.99 each ($9.99 MSRP). That's why I was asking if the MSRP on the collection was a misprice.

          Ahh. I missed that.

TRSI has updated the MSRP to $39.99 for the complete collection.

Hmmm... I wonder what the extra 4 cents gets you if you buy it?

                  I have failed at math-ing!

I wonder if it would have been cheaper for them to just shrinkwrap the singles together to make the collection. Maybe not. It probably would've been counteracted by the increase in shipping costs anyway.
