[Streaming] [UK] Daisuki

I figured we haven't had a proper thread for the UK side of Daisuki, so here it is.

Daisuki have always had titles available for the UK but most of the special titles tend to be region locked from us. Just recently the UK got some additional titles presumably by Funimation.

Daisuki streams Aniplex of America titles, 'streaming first' exclusive titles (Monogatari series: Second Season was one notable example (no longer on the service)), and now a couple of others from various publishers like Bandai Namco (GOD EATER, [email protected]), Sunrise (Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin) and even a title from Toei (Saint Seiya: Soul of Gold) who most of the time never lets their catalogue be made available for the UK.

Interesting. I didn't know about that.

Yeah. Gintama actually makes fun of this in the first episode that it came back from, since the internal studio has changed names. I'm guessing Sunrise still manages the license for these titles overseas, but this could change, since I know a number of titles have shifted over to BN Pictures. It might be possible in the future Bandai themselves manage the license. You can see a list of titles that were Sunrise that have since switched over here. There may also be some other titles that haven't been verified either, as they only listed a handful for the license transfer.
