    - Any chance you'll do free shipping for purchases over a certain amount? Madman does $30 and Hanabee $60 i think.

    - That's something that we'd may introduce when we get the new website up.

          - Hey Madman,
Seeing as though the Neon Genesis Evangelion Platinum collection has been out of print for quite a while now is there a possibility to bring it to Blu-ray along with it's subsequent films?

          - Not at this point, but we're hoping for some news on this front soon!

            - I was wondering how come the neon genesis evangelion DVDs are out of print?

            - The world of licensing works in mysterious and yet logical ways. The short answer is we aren't really allowed to say too much. The long answer is extremely complicated. We hope to be able get out of this moment of expiry as soon as possible. That's all we'll comment on at this time

            https://www.facebook.com/madman/post...%3A%22R0%22%7D
            - Hey madman, was wondering do you guy's still license yu yu hakusho?

            - We do, but it's currently out of print, there may still be copies out there in stores.

              - why you not doing much blu-rays any more? I'm on the madman dealer guide and for your August and September there little blu-rays I name them
              Wanna Be The Strongest In
              Hyperdimension Neptunia
              Blazblue: Alter Memory
              Noragami
The World God Only Knows: Ova
              Magical Warfare
why there no blu-rays release for them?

              - while we would love to be able to bring Blu-Rays out for every series we release, the commercial reality is that it's just not feasible. Due to some licensing restrictions it means we are unable to share BD runs with some companies for certain titles, making it prohibitively expensive for us to produce ourselves for release.

                Re: General AU news/Twitter stuff

As the price of BD production should surely be coming down, Madman seem to be becoming more reliant on sharing physical print runs?

                    https://www.facebook.com/madman/post...%3A%22R0%22%7D
                    - NISEKOI FALSE LOVE PART 1 = $60 for 10 episode (sub only)
Sword Art Online 2 Bluray- Part 1 = $35 for 7 episodes (dub)
Kinda of a big difference for less content. Almost double the price with no dub and only 3 more episode than Sword art. I try so hard to support releases but at these prices it just blatant ripoff.

                    - the reason for the pricing disparity is due to the fact that we are restricted on how we are able to release titles. This changes from each title as well. You'll also see that Nisekoi is a 20 episode series where as SAOII is 24. When you add it all up, Nisekoi will cost $119.95, SAO II will be $119.80 on DVD and $139.80 on Blu-Ray.

The two are practically the same the price. Nisekoi not having a dub is completely out of our control. At the time of release there was unfortunately no other partners that we could work with to create a BD at a viable cost. You'll also see that the price in the US is priced at $49.98USD per BD for only 5 episodes each, something we feel the Australian fans would not be happy paying for, which is why we elected to forgo the BD release at this time. The Aniplex USA releases are region free however and if you wish to import these, there is the option to do so, we are only trying to offer a product that we feel would be the most reasonable for fans in Australia.

SAO II is also priced at $39.98 on DVD and $69.98USD for BD per volume. Again, we've tried to offer our product at prices that is reasonable for our market and also in line with our season 1 releases. In this instance, we were able to partner with the UK in order to offer a BD release and again keeping in line with our season 1 release as well.

I hope this helps explains our pricing reasons.

                    - Dear Madman

I see Neon Genesis Evangelion dvd sets in link/google but it's not showing plus you guys don't have any of the movies.

Would you know another website that sells them?
Or would you know if any updates on them coming to your store?

                    Thanks

                    - the series and older films are currently out of print and we do not have estimates as to when it would be possible to bring this back.

Just a heads-up for those of you placing orders on www.sirenvisual.com.au - our warehouse is moving to a brand spankin' new premises and although we *should* be able to fulfill orders in a swift and timely manner, there *may* be slight delays in shipping out some titles as our warehouse crew sets up and plugs in to the new digs. Of course, this doesn't affect pre-orders and we'll have some more announcements of those over the next couple of days!

We're also excited about our new website which we are 99% complete. It's gonna be nice and new and fresh and streamlined. Start saying goodbye the the old site: its days are numbered!

Castle town dandelion now at Hanabee

Every Wednesday you can enjoy a brand new episode of Castletown Dandelion! It's a royal whacky family each with their own special ability.

Synopsis: The Royal Sakurada family rule over their kingdom from the center of town and each member has special powers!

Three boys and six girls are born in to the family but the next ruler needs to be decided at the National Election! What better way to decide than create a reality show of each family member all over town to watch their every move. The siblings do their best to dodge the cameras, act proper and help each other but only one will win the election.

Watch the slapstick comedy created by the Sakurada family every Wednesday!
