It's probably the latter, and given that it's a Geneon Japan title as well as a Yoshitoshi ABe title,Universal Sony Home Pictures Entertainment is probably the most likely to pick up the license, as they re-released Serial Experiments Lain, Haibane Renmei and Texhnolyze.

          - Hey Madman, just wandering what's happened to the NieA_7 release? I can see you guys have it licensed but it seems to be unavailable.

          - this title has been long out of print and we no longer hold rights to this series.

          - Since you no longer have rights to it does it mean someone else does or has nobody picked it up

          - As far as we are aware it's currently not available.

          - Hey Siren Visual, I was searching to see if NieA 7 was available in Aus and it used to be until until it went out of print and then this certain company no longer had rights to it so I was wondering would you ever consider getting it?

          - Not a definite 'no', but this is owned by a company in Japan who have not been licensing to Australia for a number of years and it could be difficult for us to acquire.

So Madman or Hanabee may have Parasyte?

                https://www.facebook.com/sirenvisual...tal_comments=1 (Dec 22)
Gee thanks! Always nice to know there are happy fans out there...and yes, Madhouse is one of our favourite studios. Parasyte has been picked up by another Australian company. I can't give you an answer for Hunter x Hunter (good series, though).

                  - Any chance of a reprint of the blu ray version of Angel Beats? It seems to be sold out everywhere.

                  - Not for another 6 months

Hey guys, do you have an estimate on when you'll be able to release Outbreak Company? Sentai's release is next month.
We’ll be releasing it in June.

                      Some missed info from February.

                      - Is Rozen Maiden Season 1 out of print or will you be restocking it sometime soon?

                      - Unfortunately not. It will remain out of print for the time being. We do have the new adaptation coming soon.

                      - Did you lose the rights to publish BECK: Mongolian Chop Squad or something? I have every volume on DVD except the first (I lost it unfortunately) and I can't buy it from your store anymore.

                      - the series is no longer in print and we currently do not have plans to bring the series back.

This was a while back but relevant nonetheless.

Hey Madman, I got some news for you! I just saw a post on Facebook that 20th Century Fox has officially got their license for the film DBZ: Revival of F and will be release in Mexico and somewhere in Argentina and also other countries (not sure if FUNi got one as well yet). I don't know if this film will release in 3D in worldwide like Japan got one, but will just see what happens what the studio's thoughts about.
Hey I got a idea, what if Australia should release this film in both 2D and 3D formats in cinemas and on Blu-ray later in the future? Did you think this is a good idea to release this film in 3D? Please let me know, thanks
We're in the early stages of planning our release, Tien! Thanks for the suggestion, we'll be sure to keep everyone updated of our plans. We're very excited about it!

Oh really? Good thing I picked it up in the Feb $13 sale then.

                              - Any chance of you licensing Magical Girl Lyrical Nanoha anime series or The MOVIE series in Blu-ray? Its such a unique story with magical gun style weapons and the romantic interaction of the main characters....still got quite a big fanbase in the west because of the main pairing!.

                              - Unfortunately we can't license this title as the company that owns it cannot license to Australia outside of their subsidiaries.

                              ---

                              - Aww pity any idea to why?

                              - Corporate red tape.

The only company I can think of that applying to is Universal Sony. Did Geneon have anything to do with Nanoha outside America? It's distributed by King Record in Japan.
