          - Hiya!
Just wanted to give a recommendation for "Angels Egg"
It's a very one of a kind, thought provoking films filled with surreal and haunting imagery directed by Mamoru Oshii nontheless!
Would love to see it on Australian shores!

          - Oooh Angels Egg. A deadset classic if ever there was one. Beautiful animation and a dreamy, surreal story. I actually have the Japanese DVD, but there are some licensing issues preventing this one from getting the English release it deserves. There is an alternate version called 'In the Aftermath' which was released in Australia during the VHS era...but be warned: it's edited together with some end-of-the-world live action stuff and it may infuriate those looking for the Oshii masterpiece.

            - Any idea when Tokyo Ghoul will be released on DVD from your store?

            - it usually takes quite a while from the end of broadcast to an adapted English home video release. Few reasons
            1. Materials used for release need to be created first, in this case the uncensored / uncut and improved versions on DVD/BD in Japan. These are usually released at a rate of 2 episodes on each disc every month from about 3 months after the series first starts to air.

            2. Once materials are available translation and the adaptation process can begin. This of course takes time. Time to cast, time to translate the final version, time to record the lines and time to approve the final version from the original creators.

            3. Once this is done, the finalised product for English markets can then go into production. Of course we try where possible to follow on from the US release as close as possible, we've even gotten to day and date before, but usually it's a 2-3 month wait. We also have an extra month that the US do not have with having to classify materials and get a local rating.

Hope this helps to explain the process a bit and why things take a long time sometimes.

                  - Hi Madman any plans to release Gurren Lagann complete series on Blu-ray ?

                  - we have not yet finalised our plans. It's a possibility but TBC.

                  - Any chance of Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's collection 6? And when is Dragon Ball Z Kai being continued?

                  - unfortunately it's not something that's on our plans at the moment. With regards to DBZKai, we're unsure of when we will be releasing the Buu saga just yet.

                              - Hey Madman, just wandering what's happened to the NieA_7 release? I can see you guys have it licensed but it seems to be unavailable.

                              - this title has been long out of print and we no longer hold rights to this series.

                              - Since you no longer have rights to it does it mean someone else does or has nobody picked it up

                              - As far as we are aware it's currently not available.

I wonder if they just mean not available to buy, or if it is actually unavailable to license for some reason.
