I'm not sure why there was never a thread for this (as a counterpart for the UK thread). Stuff that may not be thread worthy by itself.

    - Hey, just wondering if you still had the licenses for Australian distribution for Ranma 1/2 and Yu Yu Hakusho. If so, do you plan on releasing them on Bluray after years of them being out of print?

    - these are still currently out of print and we do not have a time frame of whether they would come back or not, nor can we confirm whether we will or won't do a BD should we be able to go into print with these again.

Oh yeah - keep your eyes peeled for new announcements this month...we have something VERY cool for all you dyed-in-the-wool fans, and another world first for Siren...a series that will tug the heart strings and rattle your reeds. Can you guess what it is?

Give that "rattle your reeds" isn't an expression that either Google or I recognise, I'm assuming it is a clue.
A tragic show about sheep playing in a wind orchestra?

            - is the Big O still available through madman?

            - Sorry, this series is now out of print and no longer available.

            - Do you guys have any plans on acquiring the rights to the Cowboy Bebop movie? I'd love to have it next to the series.

            - Hi Matt, unfortunately rights belong to another company in Australia and worldwide. We are unable to release this.

I'm guessing it might be Windy Tales from Production I.G. As the show is about people that can control wind, it certainly wood fit in what type of anime that Siren Visual would release.

Seems like Terror in Resonance will be simulcasting on AnimeLab. https://twitter.com/YonkouProd/statu...61967540559872

I noticed this ad in Supanova's event guide. So you've licensed Terror in Resonance?

                  - Hey will you guys be releasing the higurashi OVAs?

                  - We're trying our best, [...], but nothing confirmed yet.

-Yoooo guys what's happening with your Kill la Kill release? I didn't see it mentioned in the Supanova announcements!

                    - Our plan is not finalized, but we are hoping to release it in October

                      - Would we ever see a Ping Pong: The Animation DVD release from you in the future? That series would be amazing in full HD on a big screen

                      - A great series (we're big fans of Yuasa), but I doubt we would sell enough copies of a Blu-ray version to make it a worthwhile exercise.

                      ---

                      - Would a DVD release ever be likely? Understandable, Blu-Ray anime still hasn't kinda caught on.

                      - Unless we could share a release with another (overseas) company, it's unlikely. I would love to put this one out though!

                        - With Roadshow Entertainment releasing Digimon Fusion, does this mean you have lost the rights to Digimon? Or is each season licensed individually?

                        - Each season is licensed individually.

                        - At some point in the future, could it be possible for a new release for The Big O on blu-ray? Japan has put out a blu-ray box set of the series that includes English audio but its much more expensive that I want to pay for.

                        - Unless the price of producing blu-rays come down significantly we cannot really commit to doing BD's for just any title. It's highly unlikely at this stage that we will be doing The Big O on BD, but we'll be sure to keep it in mind if the opportunity arises.

                        - Any chance of a re-release of Twelve Kingdoms?

                        - We currently don't have any plans, but never say never!

                        - Will we see a Blu-Ray release of Only Yesterday before the end of the year?

                        - Unlikely before the end of the year.

                              - G'day Madman, Manga UK's just released the first 3 One Piece movies on DVD subtitled, is there any local release in the pipeline and if so, are you guys using the same VHS transfers Manga's using?

                              - Not something we have licensed so we have no intentions at this point in time.
