In response to all the rumours... it's true, Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 is coming next year. We don't know how this info slipped through the cracks (no pun intended), but we do hope you enjoy this ground breaking series (sorry, couldn't resist)!!

I guess Quarkboy was on to something back in late May...

Siren Visual's release will take the form of a 2 disc complete collection with slipcase. The title will have english dub and subtitles and Bluray is currently unconfirmed. The scheduled release date is the 21st of March 2013.

English dub? SV doesn't usually (and by usually I mean ever) dub things themselves. I wonder if this means there is a license for somewhere else that they've piggy backed off of. Anyways, good on them for this one. They're probably too scattered and niche to be an Australian's favorite anime company but I love them because they pick up all the good shows that America won't and their standard packaging would be like a LE for Funi or Sentai. Plus they have that nice bonus DVD with episodes and interviews from other shows that they give out.

It has been stated here that Maiden Japan seems to have licensed it though the format of DVD or BD isn't confirmed yet.

i wonder how they managed to get a release date earlier than the US, especially since they did the Dub and everything.

Hmm I actually like the cover better than the US release as well. Seems they used the Vol 5 cover which you can enbiggen here Volume 5 Amazon Jp

Like I said, definitely a more cromulent piece of coverart.
