It's very interesting to see this getting released. If all holds up, UK is getting this, Totoro, and Grave of the Fireflies combos on the same day (November 12th).

It's a good fun film so it'll be interesting if it is released in November as well. I am kind of surprised we haven't heard anything on a UK release of Poppy Hill yet.

The hold-up could be on the English dub (that is if there isn't a UK dub).

Any chance it will be a double-region disc? I'd love to add this movie to my collection, but right now my only options are the R1 DVD, which is missing the opening credits animation, and the Japanese BD, which doesn't include English subs.

UK anime Blu-ray's are almost if not always locked to region B only.
