Cool, it's awesome to see that Netflix is slowly diversifying to include some A-B list actors in their anime series/films and on top of that, having some of their productions to be Union.

Curious to see where Rilakkuma and Kaoru is recorded, it could be Post Haste Digital which is the studio that recorded the Flavors of Youth film, which also had the likes of Evan Rachel Wood and Ross Butler involved in that production, but I'd be surprised if it's Bang Zoom! or VSI recording this series, particularly the former, cause aside from the Laws of the Universe movies, BZ! hasn't done a Union anime series with an all-star cast (including celebs) since IGPX.

EDIT: On second thought it may not be Bang Zoom! as the title isn't listed in the SAG-Database with the other titles recorded from BZ! (Unforeseen Productions, Inc).

I don't know how it is for you but for me the SAG-Database stopped listing anime and games a few months back, so even if it were done by BZ we wouldn't be able to tell. Guess we'll just wait for it to release like normal.

Really happy that it seems like Netflix is starting to pump more money into their dubs too.

Just for the record, the SAG Database (and by extension its main website) has been suffering from some errors since late last year after I had some email correspondence with them so the database hasn't been properly up to date for awhile now.

Anyways, while it probably doesn't narrow down where the dub was produced. Wendee Lee has Tweeted about working on it (in a directing capacity by how she's wording it)

Hmm..... if what Wendee Lee might be saying its true then perhaps it could be Bang Zoom! that is doing the Rilakkuma and Kaoru dub, which makes sense as Wendee is one of the primary female ADR directors at Bang Zoom! (besides Julie Maddalena Klliewer and recently Erica Mendez) and has been voice directing several anime projects (e.g. Doraemon, A Lull in the Sea, The Testament of Sister New Devil etc..) and non-anime projects at the studio. Then again I'm getting ahead of myself and we won't know until April 19th, but I'd be surprised if this was recorded outside of Bang Zoom! although in all honesty Wendee Lee hasn't voice directed any anime titles outside of Bang Zoom! since ADR directing the Bleach dub at Studiopolis (before she stopped working on it during one of the episodes for the show's story arcs)

Also I know this has been mentioned before but not on this thread, so apparently a trailer for the upcoming Ultraman series that is set to be released this April was released in English on the Netflix website. From the voices I heard their's quite a lot of familair voices, but I definitely recognize Liam O'Brien (Dan Moroboshi) and Matt Mercer's voices in the trailer.

Looks like this series could've been recorded at Studiopolis instead of Bang Zoom!, as the former has been primarily doing anime voice work for the studio these days mainly to reprise his old anime Roles (Gaara in the Naruto series and Boruto) and was recently in Baki, along with the fact Liam hasn't worked in any new projects at Bang Zoom! since Durararax2!! in 2015-16 and the latter hasn't been getting any new anime roles for the studio lately aside from continuing to reprise his old roles such as Jutaro Kujo for JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Leorio in Hunter x Hunter, and among others.

                        • There was a special preview screening for the Ingress anime series (now announced for worldwide release via Netflix on April 30) around a week ago that's given some extra info on the English dub as well. Ezra Weisz was in attendance and revealed he directed the dub.

And an article discussing the release date and preview screening also states that Michelle Ruff is voicing lead character Sarah Coppola, which is backed up by Michelle herself posting about being at the screening too

(While not dub related, the show's soundtrack was recreated for the international release which is what I suspect has to do with the delay from its old November release date)

It's not often you see Chris Sabat appear in a Sentai Filmworks dub, given that he primarily works at Funimation and traveling to I-45 from Dallas to Houston can get exhausting.

                              • Very cool to see David Wald's continued recruiting of Funimation colleagues to Sentai dubs score a name like Sabat. He's been a top dog of voice acting at Funimation since their very first dub and run their sister studio for almost as long, but between One Punch Man at Bang Zoom! a few years ago and this, he's starting to mix up his appearances a bit more lately, something I'm always happy to see.
