  • Millenium Snow: Sell me or scare me

Is anyone familiar with Millenium Snow? It sounds a bit like early Anita Blake (pre-nymphomania) meets Fruits Basket, which is promising. However, I wasn't a big fan of the author's Ouran Host Club series. Any thoughts?

Seventeen-year-old Chiyuki Matsuoka was born with heart problems, and her doctors say she won’t live to see the next snow. Toya is an 18-year-old vampire who hates blood and refuses to make the traditional partnership with a human, whose life-giving blood would keep them both alive for a thousand years.
"The roaring of lions, the howling of wolves, the raging of the stormy sea, and the destructive sword, are portions of eternity too great for the eye of man."

-William Blake, "The Marriage of Heaven and Hell"

It's been a long time since the first two volumes came out, but it's more like Ouran with monster boyfriends than Fruits Basket, and certainly nothing like any of the Anita Blake books, before or after Laurel Hamilton lost her goddamn mind.
