Hmm, the description doesn't seem to say whether it will be an upscale or not. Hopefully not, otherwise it'll be a pass.

Hopefully, it won't be an upscale, as this vintage OVA would have been shot on film.

I don't see any mention of the movie compilation. My R2 DVD box set includes the movie edition, the three OVAs, and the making of.

The Japanese description on CD Japan/Neowing says that the Special Compilation is on disc 1 and that the OVAs and Making Of are on disc 2. No sign of Iczer 3 or Iczelion though, as my friend Thanatos pointed out. I hope they consider those popular enough to remaster and release separately, otherwise they might be passing up a good opportunity to release them. I personally wouldn't mind paying double or slightly more if it included everything Iczer related, anyways.

Receives a response from King Records stating that it will be an HD telecine from 16mm and 35mm negatives.

That's the same as the art for the DVD box. Boring, but I guess it gets the job done and beats new art that looks bad.
