            So along with some other shows I was catching up on buying, I was interested in this. I remember there being comments about the DNR on this, but for anyone who owns both this and the DVDs, is this worth the upgrade? The DVDs are ok, but nothing great. So as long as it's not a GE999 movies smear fest, I guess I could live with the DNR if it's otherwise worth it.

              I've rented the first few R2 DVDs, and it's definitely worth it if you can look past the DNR. It's kinda similar to the First Gundam TV BDs. Still got a good bit of detail, and it's a great show. But I'm pretty forgiving when it comes to TV anime, given that anything that's not an upscale will be miles better than the original broadcasts.
