Oh, even if you don't buy the Cattier-Luka Champagne, it is not a bad thing to buy another good wine and toast to Miss Megurine's birthday.
You're right. They should release separate wine glasses for such occasions, like the one included with that set. At least that would be easier to get

That is an 'itashi kayushi (being in a bit of a dilemma)' trouble which people who collect figures, anime discs, manga and the like sometimes suffer.
Since the Twitter message says, '今冬に詳細を発表予定です,' Snow Miku Sky Town will reveal more info about the Megurine Luka figure probably between December of 2016 and February of 2017.
A piece of info about the Luka-in-Kimono figure has been posted on the Hatsune Miku Official Blog.
More info will be released later.

Yeah, that 'Luka Edition' glass, too, seems to be pretty good.

Yes, you can import wine glasses with less red-tape things in comparison with importing wine.
However, since I have read a half-joking article by Art Buchwald about how roughly airport staffers handle bags and parcels, I can't help wishing wine glasses to be sent to you good luck.
I have also read a humorous article by George S. Kaufman about a secret school where waiters learn how to deliberately mistake customers' orders at restaurants.

I have posted a message about the Chibi Miku-san manga on the 4-koma manga thread.

Yikes...wouldn't want that to happen. I'd probably just end up visiting Japan again and carry it along my check-in; highly cushioned and well protected.

I believe it, though I'd probably be annoyed if they got my order wrong more than once. It's similar to how some pro sports here (namely the NBA) have training in 'flopping' (intentionally reacting as if you've been fouled on).

I can almost see your buying many Vocaloid-related things in Akibahara in my mind's eye.
Speaking of tableware, Cospa released a Vocaloid-themed mug some years ago.

I hope the square customs officer will not say to you, 'Is this Pokémon, Sir?'

Thank you for a piece of interesting info about American sports.
Kenkyūsha's New English-Japanese Dictionary (the E-J equivalent to the Green Goddess) says:

flopper noun 3 (American slang) A person who fablicates an accident.

However, it doesn't say, 'Especially, in basketball games.'
But a crust is better than no bread. 'Collegiate' E-J dictionaries don't carry even the 'person who fablicates an accident' definition.

Back in the AoD forum, there was a guy who posted a question about the Green Goddess dictionary, and I answered the question.
I hope the Japanese culture forum of the Fandom Post, too, will become more active like AoD's.

I certainly would like to. Unfortunately, I'm just about out of display space right now, so I've already acquired a fair number of figures still living in their boxes...

Oh, the space problem? Certainly it is often a headache to people who collect anime discs, manga, figures and the like.
