Kinji, who lacks any kind of work ethic, is a layabout in his modern life. One day, he finds himself transported to another world—but not in a grand fantasy of a hero welcomed with open arms. He's immediately shoved into a terrible job! Now enslaved by an evil mining company in a fantasy world, Kinji's about to really learn the meaning of hard work!

    Episode 1

    Let's get to work.

So after seeing a ton of isekai shows recently where the MC is overworked but in the new world that person is living a relaxing life like in By the Grace of the Gods, The Saint's Magic Power is Omnipotent, Slime 300, and Drugstore in Another World, this goes in the opposite direction. Kinji was a NEET back in his previous life, but after being isekaied, he goes from his luxurious lifestyle to a corporate slave who is overworked and underpaid. At least Kinji has what it takes to make it in this company seeing that he negotiated with the dragon in the third level and found a shortcut there. And now, he has a dragon girl living with him in Rim, all while company profits are going through the roof having found a shortcut and hired the dragon as a bodyguard in exchange for food that tastes better than him or his co-workers. While the concept was interesting, the execution is another matter entirely as the episode skips through a lot of stuff seeing that it goes straight to Kinji on the job after getting isekaied, all while the animation quality is pretty atrocious for something coming out of Silver Link, and not to mention there's Kinji himself whose personality comes off as irritating. I'm hoping for better things, but given that the source material is weak from what I'm hearing that I can't expect it to happen.

As usual, trial period rules are in effect.

      Episode 2

      Time to exterminate the queen.

And now, Kinji is dealing with a bunch of ants in the dungeon that follow the workers all the way to the base camp where with some quick thinking, Kinji turns those bugs into helpers. Not only were Kinji and the others able to turn into ants to fit in with them, but through this potion they learn that they were being exploited by the queen and were being forced to do awful things like the corporate slaves they had become. But that ends here as Kinji rallied the ants to unionize and strike back against the queen. Pretty silly episode that was, but at the very least it's better than the first episode. Still, this show is just full of problems, and having weak source material is a big reason why, and not to mention the animation quality.

        Episode 3

Work that's unfit for a hero.

Here comes Shia, a hero who becomes Kinji's new co-worker, and she's really thick-headed to say the least. After all, a hero is supposed to slay monsters, but Kinji has recruited them to work for him. This comes after a training camp that's pretty brutal to say the least. Shia certainly is an odd fit for this team, but she's capable of being productive, so at least she's an asset to the team.

          Episode 4

Death March to the parallel world profits.

With Kinji aware that monster parts are valuable and a big opportunity coming up, he comes up with a plan with Death March approaching when monsters regenerate. And as such, opportunity knocks to harvest monster parts, but among the things happening during Death March is that the Majin resurrects and requires a hero as a sacrifice. So that monster is sent to the surface, which wasn't a smart move, before it returns to the dungeon after wreaking havoc on the mine. And then Rim shows up to beat that monster into submission. Then comes that ending with Kinji and Rim falling, and that probably can't be good. This goes to show that plenty can go wrong when trying to rake in the profits.

So with that, the trial period is over, and with this show having lost favor in me that I'm ready to resign from this show.

Poor Shia. She does not yet understand that the company meant for her to be sacrificed. Her naiveté about working for the company has yet to be shattered. Ah well, I am sure Kinji will have her corrupted in no time. After all, he already has her working with monsters.

I look forward to seeing what more misadventures this crew gets into.
