31-year-old Uramichi Omota has two sides to his personality. He appears as the young man in charge of physical exercises on the educational program "Maman to Together." Although he has a fresh and upbeat demeanor on the show, he is actually a bit emotionally unstable

    Episode 1

ABC, not so easy as 1-2-3.

So it begins with Uramichi making a fool of himself on a children's show, and then lots of background information gets explained. Uramichi is a former gymnast and now a gymnastics coach, as well as the host of the TV show. But while he physically fit, his mind is quite the opposite as he is mentally unstable, and that leads to him doing some pretty crazy things that are inappropriate for children. Pretty funny stuff so far, especially that joke where Uramichi puts a sexual twist on a guy named Richard. Anyway, while some parts were funny, things feel like they are getting too old too fast, all while the jokes are really hit-or-miss with a number of them missing.

As usual, trial period rules are in effect and if things go south, dropping it will be easy as ABC.

      Episode 2

Who's the one giving life lessons, now?

Things just keep on getting more and more crazy with Uramichi. This episode focuses mainly on the other main characters as they do pretty silly things themselves. Lots of skits here that feel random, and some of them are quite funny like the fishing trip on a day off where Uramichi decides to feed a hungry cat a fish he caught, only for it to get snatched away by a sea gull, or an amusing trip to the grocery store to buy a bottle of olive oil. And then there's Tobikichi visiting Uramichi in his apartment and trips over a dumbbell as after all he is exercising quite a lot when he's not at the studio. Pretty much it's more of the same as while the humor is once again a hit-or-miss kind of thing.

        Episode 3

        Remember to wash your hands.

And now, Uramichi is doing a stage show to illustrate the importance of washing your hands. But then Uramichi goes off-script as he was supposed to lose as Bacterian in a fight against Jerminator, played by Iketeru, necessitating a redo. Then on the way to work, Uramichi is asked the question about whether or not he believes in a god, all while he asks the same thing to his co-workers. Then there's KiraPure, which is obviously a parody of Pretty Cure, as that show is quite popular with the kids. The boys try their hands at sketching, and that produces some bizarre results. Once again, Uramichi shows that he doesn't exactly have his head on straight with all those crazy things that he is doing and all, and it's funny to see it going down.

          Episode 4

Summer in the middle of winter.

And it begins with Uramichi and company filming a beach scene for a TV show even though it's in the middle of winter and in freezing conditions, it's practically impossible to get the desired effect. But this goes to show just how show biz works as production schedules are quite tight and all. And then the kids have taken quite a liking to Kumao to the point where the kids aren't as in a good mood when the bear mascot is missing. So Tobikichi puts on the bear costume, but these children aren't fooled as even with the same costume the kids are sharper than expected recognizing that it isn't the same person inside the costume. So what's Tobikichi to do, wear the bunny costume, but with Kumao's head? Pretty funny stuff once again as it goes to show how it isn't easy being in this industry.

So with that, the trial period is over, and while the jokes have been funny, they have been hit or miss and I get the feeling things are just going to get repetitive from hereon out.
