    Episode 1

These are grades, not bra sizes.

And so, things picked up kind of where they left off as Rizu didn't realize that the E she got refers to her grade in literature rather than her bra size. It turns out that her bust is pretty big, though it's important not to get those things mixed up. Then it's onto the onsen where the girls end up on the men's side. That's a nice way to mix things up there with the overused onsen fanservice as normally, the boys are trying to go over to the women's side, but this time the girls ends up in the wrong place and it's a good thing those boys are too focused on peeping to notice them. Pretty nice way to get back into the thick of things, especially with a different approach to doing an onsen episode.

While this pales in comparison to The Quintessential Quintuplets (which I found out just now that the manga for this show came out before the Quints and all this time I thought that this was a ripoff of that show), the dropoff in storytelling is made up with its great comedy to make for another fun season. While this show getting a second season was not really surprising, the fact that it's part of the fall season most definitely is since Aniplex already has already filled up their allotted time slots.

If this is what they're doing to kick off the new season then that doesn't bode well for the rest of the episodes.

Didn't they already do the hide because you're in the wrong sauna gag last season? Changing it up to wrong onsen doesn't freshen it up.

The whole grade/bra size storyline is contrived.

        Episode 2

        There'll be days like this.

And now an episode focused on Asumi and Mafuyu. First off, Asumi is trying to launch a house cleaning service, but their clients just so happen to be their friends and they aren't exactly thrilled that Asumi is the one doing the cleaning. At least she got to do some work cleaning Nariyuki's home. And then Mafuyu has a really bad day that starts when her laptop runs out of battery while creating her quiz forcing her to write it all again, and that affects her morale and productivity as she dozes off. As if that wasn't bad enough she apparently lost her keys to her apartment that she forgot that she placed inside her USB case. Pretty hilarious stuff here as it goes to show that it's not the students who are in need of a lesson.

Let Asumi work! I do like that Rizu sort of broke the pattern. Also that maid outfit has benefits and a good view sometimes.

            Episode 3

            Let's face it.

Now it's an episode about Rizu as with the changing of the seasons, she's changing her appearance. But she's too ashamed to show it after cutting her bangs wrong, and that leads to some funny ways to avoid being seen as she puts on that mask. Luckily for her, Nariyuki doesn't notice it at all, so at least that crisis has been averted. And then Sawako shows up again as she has been following Rizu all this time hoping to surpass her. With Rizu in need of a new pencil case that they go shopping for one. Pretty nice way to learn more about Rizu here as it's no wonder why her life goal is to understand human emotion.

              Episode 4

              Say it in English.

First half is about Rizu as after that mishap, she got an extreme makeover from a hair stylist, and I wouldn't blame Nariyuki for not recognizing her. After all, while a stylist can change the look, nobody can make her hair longer, at least not without a wig (and I'm pretty sure she was wearing a wig). And then the second half features Uruka, and her attempts at speaking English and failing to do so is simply hilarious. When a dog speaks English better than Uruka, that goes to show how dumb she is.

                Episode 5

Who would give a bra for a birthday present?

It's Fumino's birthday, and Nariyuki has a present for her. Except that he gave her the wrong gift as instead of a ballpoint pen for lefties, he gave her a bra that's just way too big for her. So Fumino wears it and it's just awkward seeing that she needed four pads to wear it. All was well in the end as Nariyuki gave her the right present after that mix-up. And then it's back to the mall where once again he's wearing that mascot costume again, this time at a massage parlor operated by the same lady who ran the lingerie shop. And right on cue, all of the familiar faces are back getting a massage at the same time. But unlike last time when Nariyuki managed to keep his identity a secret at the lingerie shop, Asumi and Uruka find out about it seeing that he's being rough. Pretty funny stuff once again as he's in a bunch of awkward situations once again. While the comedy has been great, at some point I want to see some upwards movement in the story as that just hasn't been happening this season.

You quickly realize the underlying question this show asks is "How can boobs be involved in the plot?"

                    Episode 6

                    That's his strength.

And it's an episode focused on Mafuyu. FIrst, she takes a trip to the bath house when the bath in her apartment is under repair, and she meets Nariyuki's siblings, and has a bit of an accident leading to Nariyuki carrying her out. Those two certainly are meant for each other seeing that Nariyuki's siblings sure do admire her. And then Mafuyu has an unorthodox interview wearing all those gimmicky outfits to test Nariyuki's composure and not exactly getting to the matter at hand. But despite Nariyuki admitting he has weaknesses, Mafuyu saw a strength in him in that he's committed to the task at hand. So after a bunch of random comedy skits, it finally gets back to the main story at hand, albeit just for a half an episode from the look of things. Anyway, great to see the teacher getting a lot of focus.

                      Episode 7

                      Failure to understand.

Looks like episodes are now going to be dedicated to one girl from hereon out rather than half-episodes. Last time, it was Mafuyu, and now it's Rizu as she attends a math lecture during an open campus event with Sekijo. Then she ends up being a fill-in maid for the cafe Asumi works at and becomes a huge hit with the customers with a glasses fetish. She would be a valuable asset except for one thing: she's terrible at games and that's part of the reason she's desperate to understand human emotion and thinks a career in the liberal arts field is the way to go. Pretty humorous stuff once again as Rizu should just stick to what she does best.

                        Episode 8

                        Underwater to down under.

This episode is focused on Uruka as this time, she's the teacher as Nariyuki is doing poorly in PE, and is especially terrible at swimming. Mafuyu ends up having to go into the pool herself seeing, and that was pretty funny. And once again, Uruka wipes the competition as she won the meet, and it wasn't even close. She's so good that she's being offered a scholarship to study abroad in Australia where she can be coached by the best. But before that, she will have to learn English, as well as straighten out her feelings of loneliness because Nariyuki and the others won't be there. So Uruka decides to study English more seriously, while keeping her study abroad a secret from Nariyuki. Pretty nice way for Uruka to make a big step forward taking her studies more seriously to make it happen.

                          Episode 9

It runs in the family, but not her.

And now, it's a two-parter focusing on Fumino and her father as it turns out her parents are math experts, so it's explainable why Fumino would be interested in a career in science. But she's wasting her talents seeing that she's on a godly level when it comes to liberal arts, and that doesn't sit well with her father who see this as a foolish dream that's befitting of a child. So Fumino decides to run away from home and crash at Nariyuki's humble abode for awhile. That was quite a bold move there seeing that she's serious about doing things her own way and not just live as her father tells her to do. It will be interesting to see where this all goes.

                            Episode 10

                            Written in the stars.

And it turns out that Fumino's mother Shizuru was just like her in that her math grades were terrible in high school, but she worked hard and became an astronomer. After a date looking at the stars, Fumino tells her father that video on her old laptop going to show that the only thing that's nonsense is stopping her from pursuing a career in astrology. Pretty nice way to develop Fumino's character there, though it felt awfully convenient that the video is what it is.

                              His future is uncertain.

While Rizu, Fumino, and Uraka all know what they want to do in the future, not so much with Nariyuki as he's a jack of all trades who doesn't stand out in any particular way. And thus, the culture festival is on with Rizu's class doing an udon shop and needing Nariyuki's help to make it successful, while Fumino's class is doing a play with her being asked to play the lead, and Uraka's swim club is doing a concert for a magical girl show. Just one problem in that Mafuyu was asked to put on that cosplay outfit meant for Uraka to give a lecture, and she's none too pleased about it. But getting it off proves to be way too difficult, so she's on-stage instead of Uraka. It's nice to see this episode focus on everybody now, while also touching base on what Nariyuki wants to do for a career seeing that his only motivation is to help out his family situation.
