    Episode 1

Things are about to get rocky.

So it begins with humanity becoming petrified after a mysterious light turned everything into stone, and it happens just before Taiju could confess to his girlfriend Yuzuriha. 3700 years later, Taiju has broken from his petrification while Senku had been hard at work trying to turn everybody back. Slowly but surely, it's happening as he has been testing his potions on birds, and finally succeeds. Senku is quite the mad scientist there, and it's a good thing seeing that he's the key to reviving humanity. Senku and Taiju sure are developing an interesting bond.

SO with that, trial rules apply once more, though with the manga for this show being so popular that it shouldn't take long to lock it in.

      Episode 2

      Everybody will be saved.

Tsukasa is unpetrified as Senku and Taiju just aren't strong enough to fend off against attackers, all while the MMA fighter is, so Yuzuriha's revival is put on hold, all while Tsukasa beats those lions into submission. He's quite a helpful guy to have around, but the ending was pretty unsettling as Tsukasa only wants the young to rebuild this society, all while Senku is determined to save everybody. That difference in philosophy is setting things into motion in a big way.

        Re: Episodes 1 & 2

A rocky start and a stone cold psycho superman killer.

Episode 1 was a lot of fun and a great start. Episode 2, however, brings in Kal-El, son of Krypton, who in this world landed in Japan, was frozen with everyone else, and gets awakened to save Senku and Taiju from lions, where Kal-El one shots a lion to death, driving them off. Everything's great, right up to the moment Kal-El starts punching off the heads of frozen adults, killing them, because a drunk adult beat the crap out of him as a kid for picking up seashells on the adult's property.

Okay, good luck one-shotting a male lion , which weighs anywhere from 342 to 426 pounds, WITH YOUR FIST!! Only if you really are Kal-El.

So, with that destruction of my sense of disbelief (yeah, yeah, encased in stone for 3700 years, blah, blah, blah, I know, not a nature documentary), we establish Tsukasa as a super bad-ass.

And so, the show gets its villain and man vs. man conflict.

I just wish they'd done this better: Using his stone encased hands, for example, or have him holding a stainless steel weapon of some kind, something that makes it more believable than an unarmed man killing a lion with one punch. Saitama only exists in his own universe. The reason I'm ranting about this is that this show is allegedly science based, and yet by episode 2, we're ignoring the physical laws of our own universe. The hypocrisy irritates me.

Well, enough of that. With that I'm just going to go with the fantasy of it, and see how enjoyable the rest of the show is.

          Episode 3

          Science vs. Strength.

And now, Senku is involved in a large-stakes chess match with Tsukasa. There's no way Taiju even stands a chance against a MMA expert, and unfortunately for Senku got so excited that the secret is out to Tsukasa about the miracle fluid, or at least he's onto something that Senku doesn't want him to know. So he's now focused on building weapons, and he finds some useful materials with metal from a broken Buddha statue and gunpowder from a hot spring. Things are really getting interesting now as while Tsukasa means well, it's a morally conflicting viewpoint.

            Where there's smoke...

So there are other humans out there as there's no way all of those smoke could have been by Senku's group or Tsukasa. While Senku has made the gunpowder, he now has a big fight ahead, especially since he told Tsukasa about the revival fluid after holding Yuzuriha hostage. He demands Senku to abandon science, but that just isn't happening. Things sure are intensifying with this chess match between Senku and Tsukasa.

              Re: Episode 4

              The end.

So, with that, we're left with a cliffhanger where nutjob Tsukasa appears to have killed Senku?.on a cliff, no less. Tsukasa deserves to be castrated and raped by wild gorillas, for the severe crime of cutting off a cute girl's hair. Sorry, Yuzuriha is much cuter with longer hair.

So, Tsukasa now knows how to revive people, and we get a nice flashback of how Senku got into science, thanks in part to the sacrifice of his Dad.

But, none of this matters, since Senku's lying dead on a mountainside, right? But why is there an episode next week....

                Episode 5

The world is set in stone, science is not.

Thanks to Taiju and Yuzuriha using the rock and gunpowder, they managed to get Senku out of danger. As it turns out, Senku wasn't 100% unpetrified. Until now, that is. And then his background information gets revealed as through trial and error, he managed to become a "shiny monkey" who made it possible to return life to the planet. Very amusing backstory there on Senku about how he was able to come to the point where he could finally bring back humanity.

                  Episode 6

                  A stone world divided.

There was never any doubt that Senku was still alive. More of his back gets explained here as he was searching far and wide for the key to unpetrifying everybody, and he needed some muscle to help out with his work, hence the reason why Taiju was freed. And while that's happening, it turns out that there are humans out there who aren't aware of science, such as Kohaku, who Senku saved after Tsukasa trapped her under a tree. It took quite a fancy mechanism to lift it, but nevertheless Senku gets his first ally in this battle of science against strength. So with that, two nations are forming with Senku building his world through science while Tsukasa is building his through might, and it's setting up what should be an intense arms race to follow.

                    Scientists in arms.

After saving Kohaku, she joins Senku's nation and brings her over to her village that has been living primitively. However, Chrome is different as he's into science and has his own pride to uphold. That is, until Senku shows that he doesn't know as much as he think he does. With that win, Chrome and his hut are part of Senku's nation as Senku lets him now that the world he came from was lost in the blink of an eye, or the flash of a light. Chrome sure did make quite an impression there going to show how much those two were meant to be comrades in this war of brain vs. brawn.

That's the iron-clad rule for scientists.

Senku continues to add to his kingdom bringing in the watermelon head in Suika, finding iron, and making ramen out of foxtail millet. Senku sure has built up quite a team there as he's certainly gaining followers. Of course, with the battle against Tsukasa looming that he's going to need all the help he could get, but before that he's determined to find a way to cure Ruri's sickness, something that was easy back in the old world, but a huge challenge in the world he now lives in.

                        Let there be light.

Here comes Gen, who was unpetrified by Tsukasa and sent to make sure Senku is eliminated, and not only does he find that mad scientist still alive, but he's quite fascinated by everything he's making. From weapons to ramen, and then comes his Ben Franklin and Thomas Edison moment as Senku has discovered light and electricity, a way to conquer the night. That Gen is hard to figure out, and while he's loyal to Tsukasa, he just can't help but to be amazed by all the gadgets and gizmos that Senku is making.

He then runs back to Tsukasa and while he's still loyal to him, Gen is still intrigued by science, so Senku doesn't need to worry about him crossing over. But nevertheless, Senku is in quite a perilous situation with the tournament coming up to decide who rules the village, and it would be bad news should Magma win seeing that it all but erases all hope that Ruri can be cured. And then that Senku Cola, that sure does hit the spot.

Unfortunately, he knows squat when it comes to crafting them. But luckily they have a craftsman in the village as Kaseki's specialty is exactly that. So now that they have glass, Senku has his village set up like a factory to provide the essentials, Once again, Senku continues to be quite creative in his inventions.

                              Don't breathe it in.

To cure Ruri, Senku needs to get some sulfuric acid, which is dangerous to touch or breathe in. Chrome and Ginro think that there's a spirit of death residing inside it, and the silver spear was designed to find it as it turns black when they approach it. There was some arguing and bickering, but in the end they finally got along and they really came through there when Chrome thought he was a goner until Ginro saved the day with his spear. Pretty amusing depiction of that dangerous gas there going to show that special precaution needs to be taken when dealing with that, and Senku made the masks just for that.
