    Episode 1

    A case of stolen identity.

Shindo has conquered a lot of girls, but his job is far from finished as a new girl enters the scene in Natsumi. She's someone who can change appearances, and she uses Shindo's to do perverted things in order to ruin his life as she said she would. It's the same old series that I have come to expect, and it's good to finally be back with this show that I wasn't expecting to get another season, but here it is as this time J.C. Staff is animating this with IMS no more, and the quality is certainly improved. And while that toxic cooking trope as been overplayed like crazy, they do something different in that crap is actually tasty, which is a nice change of pace. Looking forward to seeing how Shindo plans on tackling this girl as he has been through quite a lot.

      Episode 2

      Can he tell the difference?

Shido is doing four dates in one day as a way of finding out which one is Natsumi in disguise. Tohka wasn't exactly acting Tohka, while nothing too out of the ordinary happens with Yoshino and Hiroto, and then it ends with Yuzuru wanting Shido to acknowledge that she's better than Kaguya. And then the next day, Yuzuru disappears as security camera footage proves that Natsumi used her powers to make her disappear. This episode pretty much is all about Shido needing to know the girls better so that he can tell when he's actually dealing with Natsumi in disguise, and that's going to be quite a tough task.

        Episode 3

        Who's the real Natsumi?

And with Yuzuru disappearing, it's game on as Shido has to figure out who Natsumi is impersonating. After some wrong guesses, the girls start disappearing, and when Tohka goes, the endgame arrives. It turns out that all this time, Natsumi was impersonating Yoshinon, and Shido figured it out when Miku gave her hairpin to Shido before she was set to disappear. But just as one game ends, another begins as Natsumi is none too pleased that Shido saw her true form as a child. That was really something there going to show that just how tough dealing with Natsumi is.

          She ain't kidding.

Now that Natsumi has been found out, her true identity is revealed as that busty figure is only a facade, and her true self is that of a little kid. Likewise, all the other girls have been transformed into little kids. It's just one problem after another as now, Ellen is back and has convinced Origami to join DEM. While it was cute to see those girls as little kids, there's just no time to relax as there's another huge threat as DEM made quite a mess in the last arc. Now, they are about to strike yet again.

            Re: Episodes 1-4

Date A Live is back, and the fun continues. The first spirit to deal with is Natsumi, who at first likes Shido, but then turns on him big time, impersonating one of 12 close friends of Shido, only to discover at the last moment, that it's Yoshinon. And we learn that the reason Natsumi turned on Shido was because she accidently transformed to her child version, and mistakenly believed that Shido had noticed.

Some very nice moments throughout. Both of the Yamai twins had really sweet moments, Tohka not eating, influenced by TV.

And, of course, we got to see Westcott's management style. Yikes!

This series may have changed studios, but the formula remains the same, and, to date (no pun intended...but there it is), it has been a good and successful one.

And now we have Origmai set up for potential betrayal, as she's suckered in by Ellen promising her what Origami desires: Info about the spirit who killed her parents.

Fun show as always, and glad we got season 3.

              Episode 5

              It all comes crashing down.

And DEM strikes launching a bomb at Tengu City, and it's up to Shido and the spirits to stop it. To make matters worse, Natsumi has gone missing. But while the girls make a stand, it just isn't enough to break the barrier. However, it's Natsumi to the rescue having finally gotten over her lack of confidence as her true self to turn that bomb into a lollipop shower, and the target has been conquered with a kiss. So Shido's job is done with Natsumi, but he still has Origami to deal with as she has joined DEM, though she saved them from that second bomb. It will be interesting to find out just what she's out to do having reluctantly joined DEM.

                Episode 6

                All Spirits must die.

And now it's onto Origami as she has joined DEM in order to learn about what really killed her parents. As such, she's out to destroy all spirits, Tohka and the conquered ones too as those also left an emotional impact on her, and she even went as far as to tie up Shindo to make it happen. And the Fraxinus comes under attack by the Goetis, which is going to be tough to take down due to its mobility. Things have really taken quite the turn here as one of Shindo's friends has suddenly turned into the enemy.

                  Re: Episode 6

                  Cliff, meet Hanger.

It seems we've been down this road before in season 1. Still, the death of Origami's parents and its impact on her has been one of the unfinished bits of business in this series.

We also get more on the mysterious Elliot, who I'm guessing is the guy we met briefly earlier this season, and who's in the OP. But, sheesh, someone just wipe the floor with this Ike guy and Ellen Mathers!

Things are looking bad, but we're coming up on Episode 7, and still haven't had a Kurumi appearance. Overdue? Plus there are 2 other Spirits in the OP, so....?

                    Episode 7

                    She's finally here.

Shido is all tied up, but Natsumi was able to free him after laughing like crazy there, something the real Origami would never do. And that allowed him to get free and stop the fight between Tohka and Origami as Origami has transformed into spirit form. So the fight ends just like that, but then that ending with Kurumi finally showing up again, things are about to get really interesting. Things took quite a huge turn when she showed up in the second season, and now she's out to cause a lot of damage again.

                      Episode 8

                      Time to make things right.

This time, Kurumi uses her time magic to send Origami back to the past and fix things on the day when her parents were killed. But of course, things don't go as planned as Origami just loses herself, all while she ends up as some soulless shell of her former self. And now, Shido is going back in the past to save Origami with Kurumi's time magic. Things couldn't have gotten any more intense seeing that DEM has been causing nothing but trouble in this whole situation.

                        Time wasn't on her side.

All this time and Origami's been obsessing about the spirit who killed her parents...and the she finally discovers the truth, and is completely destroyed by it. And then...more Kurumi time! Yes, that's also a pun. Of course we start off with Kurumi, using her power to send Origami back in time, and then sending Shido back to hopefully fix things.

You really have to feel for Origami in this story. You can see her happiness; she's going to save her parents! And then the crushing inversion with her soul seemingly destroyed - devastating and totally understandable.

We also see that both of the mysterious spirits in the OP were actually Origami, her normal Spirit form and her inverse form.

This has been a really good story arc,

                          Episode 9

                          And on that fateful day...

That was quite a tragic backstory for Origami with the way her parents died in that her parents were caught in the crossfire when her spiritual self was fighting Phantom. Origami's parents pushed her out of the way and took the blow themselves. But thanks to Kurumi's time magic Shido saw what happened, and got another chance to fix the problem by taking the blow for himself seeing that he does revive. Once again, Kurumi shows how great she is, and even with the eyepatch, her avatar in the past is pretty cute. Anyway, that was quite a depressing backstory there, and one that made Origami who she is, but things ought to be different now that history was changed. In the meantime, there's Phantom that needs to be dealt with.

                            Episode 10

Time does not heal all wounds.

While Shido did save Origami's parents, they would only die a year later in a car accident. Even so, Origami is still a much different person as she's rather well-behaved and is no longer an AST soldier in this timeline. But of course, that still isn't right as the spirit inside her is still nothing but trouble. Not to mention, the other girls don't know who she is until she ended up in class as a transfer student. So while Shido solved one problem, it only created another, and now he has a decision on his hands.

So, time is on whose side? Well, Kurumi's, obviously.

So we get a new world, a new Origami, but problems remain. It's both great to see Origami like this, and sad that she's not the old Origami as well. Still, a very interesting episode and I'm looking forward to the final episodes.
