    Episode 11

Everything can be solved with flowers.

Madoka doesn't exactly see eye-to-eye with his mother, and with her surprise visit to the grave thanks to Keiichiro outing it without first consulting he's not feeling well. Yuji tries to change that by bringing in Ryuji to play a video game, and Miyako to go on a trip, but in the end he came up with the idea of a flower viewing picnic with his family bringing over a cherry blossom tree to ring in the spring. That worked and it was very nice to see everybody there getting together with the Hino family, the Uchoten Boys, and even some of Chihiro's classmates. It goes to show that times like these will happen, and a little bit of friendship goes a long way. One more episode left.

      Episode 12 (Finale)

      Everything's gonna be alright.

That was nice to see Chiyo come down and visit Chihiro as a ghost there as things got supernatural here. And not only did his mother appear in front of him able to move things around, but she does so as a child. That was pretty cute seeing Chihiro and Chiyo interact like that, and it's a shame that she's gone, but it's great to see them showing their affection. Madoka needs to learn to take it easy there seeing that he worked himself like crazy to get all of those wedding dresses made, but his dedication is certainly something. That's a nice way to wrap up this show with a reflection on what happened in the year since Chiyo passed away.

Overall, this show is a nice way to kick back and relax as this show is all about comedy and building relationships, and it does a solid job in both regards. The characters are a fun bunch in this show, while the comedy does a great job in connecting everything together. In the end, it's a solid feel-good show, a type that differs substantially from Flying Witch. This show has a few major issues in that the jokes tend to get repetitive and stale like Madoka's cat allergy and Miyako's clumsiness, the show had the tendency to get really dull at times, and the show's overall plot could have been better seeing that stories are told in half-episode stretches. But in the end, it was nice and heartwarming to watch seeing that the characters make the show nice.

      MAL Rating: ********--
