    Episode 6

You know, Yuzu's normal outfit is strange. Its a Yukata/Kimono up top, but a dress down below. I don't know why this bothers me.

She also looked great in that simple white one-piece during the flashback. Though she also looked identical, so its hard to tell how much time has passed.

Anyway, I really like these Mayu/Yuzu focused episodes, they are always surprisingly heartfelt.

      Episode 7

Ironically, this episode almost put me to sleep. Ghost story episode. One of them thinks ghost stories are the scariest things in the world, even when they're not actually scary at all. Most of them don't turn out to be scary at all. The last one seems like it's going to happen as it's being told. All very predictable stuff here. Could be worse.

Same here. Not I don't like any of the other characters, but these episodes help the show a lot. Plus, we still have time to focus on other people anyway.

Gonta, you really are incredibly annoying. But damn your mom is hot.

          Terrified Yoshino was adorable.

Also, I'd like them to spend a bit more time on Sasana and Meiko.

There has to be an episode focused on those two eventually. No, the introduce them as "rivals for the love of Mayu" does not count. Especially since if that episode was for anyone, it was for Shamo.

That's about all I got out of this episode as well.

I'm not sure it's worth spending any further time commenting on it.

I'm declaring Shamo the winner of the story telling segment just because.

So the point of the ending was to make it clear that Gonta is an attention whore and that may be the real horror story.

Indeed, hoping we see more of Gonta's mom.

I found the ending to Yuzu's "scary story" to be pretty amusing because I wasn't expecting it (but so fitting for her).

Shamo continues to be one of my favorites in the show. Really love how Toyosaki does that voice, too.

Hot mom seems to be just as obsessed with Yuzu as Gonta is. She really wants Yuzu for a daughter.

Losing a game where you've done non-stop grinding to get everything perfect is a painful experience (my Disgaea saves ), so I think I sympathize with Mayu. It ended up not being her game in the first place, though.

It's not a great show, hence why I fell behind on watching it due to higher priority series. I still enjoy it decently enough. I've had a fun time watching my short catch-up marathon today, but maybe I'm more in the mood for it right now. Having to deal with so many annoyances around me, I guess something light and uninvolving like this works more.

                            Episode 9

Ah, so this episode we finally get the story of what happened right after Mayu was exiled and how she came to meet Yuzu. So, another one of those touching Mayu-Yuzu backstory episodes.

Kind of looks like from the preview for next episode that

Spoiler ->Mayu's parents are coming to visit. Definitely curious how that will go down.

This show does heartwarming reminiscence fairly well. It's too bad it doesn't do comedy all that well, since…it seems like they spend an awful lot of time in other episodes trying to be funny but failing.

                                Re: Episode 8

I'm shocked that one of the participants in a gambling match cheated. That never happens! On a more serious note, I find it amusing that Mayu won't by giving the illusion of cheating, but not actually cheating.

Ok, I never understood this. Why does winning a gambling match give you the right to take whatever you feel like? Maybe I'm wrong, but if I were to win a poker match and then decide to take a person's TV because of it, I'd probably get arrested.

There was definitely too much Gonta, but at least he has some relevance. The scenes with the old guy and his cheerleader are starting to feel more and more like padding. What's sad is that it's the only reason we got Shamo in the episode. Yet they could have easily given us a Shamo scene without that.

Are marriages between Gods and Humans even allowed? I'm going to assume yes given Shizuha's attitude, but then again given the way she cheats...

So the big question. Was that a cart game Mayu had or a disc game. If the latter, she should still have her save unless she keeps the memory card in the same box.
