    Episode 1

That was alright. Not sure who it's for. It seemed pretty kid-oriented, but there were a few things that made me think otherwise. Anyway, I may watch more.

Mayu's a hit with the ladies!

This was lots of fun, the cast is fantastic (Taketatsu Ayana ~desuwa!), and the animation is well done. Yuzu is the quintessential Horie Yui character, so <3 her as well.

I look forward to the rest of the female cast falling for Mayu, and Gonta always striking out with Yuzu.

Also, why are Binbokami always so adorable?

That was fun and cute. It's in some ways reminiscent of Kamichu!, also a lighthearted look at the interaction between the divine and the human realm in Japan.

In that case, She just needs some convincing! In other words, that plot device. Although I get the feeling even if they convinced her to be with the ladies, Yuzu would have the advantage. Since as far as I can tell, she's the other lead.

She's voiced by Aki Toyosaki. Therefore she was always going to be adorable.

Oh definitely, a cross between Kamichu! and Kanamemo maybe?

Also, is it wrong that I am already thinking of English voice casts? (I got a huge Luci Christian vibe the moment I heard Mayu)

Heh? Were you talking about Mayu (Tomatsu Haruka) or Shamo (Toyosaki Aki)? (EDIT: I guess that was supposed to be Fencedude's post you meant to quote?) The latter certainly is extremely adorable, though, and the most in the first episode in my opinion.

Mayu has a wife (to be)! Sadly, Mayu isn't thrilled with the prospect. But her fiancee is!!

It was a bit jumbled, sometimes feeling a bit abrupt in its jumps from scene to scene, but that was pretty fun.

I sucked at quote-fu last night it seems. It was meant to be Fence's post I quoted at that point.

                    Episode 2

Maybe it's because there are so many really bad shows this season and this is one of the few that isn't, but I enjoyed this episode quite a bit more.

So did they just decide the huge pot was worthless right away without checking to see what was inside at all...? I was scratching my head at that.

Yoshino's adorable! And I like how Mayu is quite competent when she bothers to be.

Yuzu rules these gods with an iron fist though.

                        Needs more Shamo.

Even if they had looked, they'd have just seen a giant pot full of ash.

I know, but still wondering why they didn't even bother. I was thinking about that a lot right when the pot first showed up...

Plot-induced indifference. No plot without Mayu taking the lazy and easy way out.

                              ...

The show has its cute moments, but it's highly predictable. Fencedude is right, it probably needs more Shamo and less repeating unfunny gags (Meiko, Sasana, I'm looking at you).
