That's a pretty sweet cover. Didn't watch the show, but wow, never knew Ansem (albeit with a bunch of scars) was in it :D.

Great cover art this is. It's a shame that this show ended up being a huge letdown.

3D cover art added to the first post (spine is mostly text).

This doesn't look like Garo to me. Where is the golden lion armor?

Looks like FUNimation is now abandoning inside artwork for their releases. Following Sengoku Basara: End of Judgement, there is no inside artwork for this release.

FUNimation found another way to make their regular edition releases even more unappealing. Bland disc art + no inside art=About as bland as live-action movie releases from the big studios.

Yeah, that's something that makes buying the BDs unappealing. At least Funimation has done a good job in making the SE releases stand out, but this is just totally bland and something where you're missing nothing by watching the streams.

Yeah, I Agree With The No Inside Artwork Thing. At Least Nichijou Has Inside Art, But BLAND DISC ART!!!!!!

Nearly all of FUNimation's releases from mid-2012 to 2016 had bland disc art, so it's not new for them. Starting last year though, now only shows that get LEs will get actual disc art, usually (the RE because it uses the same discs will also have actual disc art).

Funimation's graphic department has been pretty average for along time. It pales in comparison to the Sentai Filmworks releases
