This one, to me, is 10 times better than the cover for the 1st set.

I don't think I like this one more than the first one. I seem to enjoy the simplicity of the first set's art, and on this one it is a bit busy to me. This set definitely makes better use of real estate though. Overall both sets look all right. I don't think I will be buying Index though.

Something feels off about this cover. It's a bit too busy too. The Part 1 cover feels better than this one.

This cover is nothing short of a mess. As Damius pointed out, there is just too much going on - far too busy, for my liking, at least.

This may be pure coincidence, but someone on twitter pointed this* out. That's a bootleg, using the same image artwork.

If it weren't for Himegami in the picture, I'd think this was the cover for the PSP fighting game or something. I'm pretty disappointed in both covers so far.

One hopes FUNi will give a much better effort on the Railgun covers. These Index covers seemed rushed. Were they not able to get a lot of artwork to work with?

I don't like it THAT much more than the first, but I definitely prefer this one as well. Might be all those cool blues more than anything else.

Eh, it's okay, and I've seen worse, but neither of the Index covers are anything special; I hope that they manage to do a bit better with Railgun.
