Any recommendations for a good Olympics-ish anime?

Since the Olympics is a judiciously guarded trademark, I doubt too many anime exist regarding the sporting jamboree. One idea might be to just line up a playlist of sport anime and watch them back to back, especially those with elements of international competition, like Yuri on Ice.
Edit: If you want to look outside of the anime realm, there is the Steven Lisberger movie Animalympics, made to tie in with the 1980 Olympiad. He’s the guy who made TRON. There is a German Blu-ray, which I believe is Region B locked.Last edited by Just Passing Through; 08-05-2021, 03:03 AM. -
It doesn't have to be officially Olympics. Something like G Gundam (quadrennial giant robot tournament) or Battle Athletes Victory (elite athletes training for the big competition) would be fine.Originally posted by Just Passing Through View Post
