I was going to see if I could head out to Staples today to get a DVI cable for my computer. Imagine my surprise when I check online and of all things the video cables are horrifically overpriced. $39.99 for video cables is overkill. Because of this I now have to order off Monoprice, which prices them at about $4. Why is it that video cables, the one thing I expect to be cheap, have to be so stupidly expensive? No one is going to buy Monster cables unless they're suckers for gold plating and whatever other completely useless features they add. Can't chains learn from online stores like Monoprice?
