Alright, the year is almost halfway done, and I meant to write this up back in March, but never really got around to it. Once again, I do this assessment for every simulcast I watched to the end that started in 2017. Only licensed shows will be part of this assessment, so shows that haven't been picked up for home video rights will not be part of it. Even though they haven't been officially announced, it's a foregone conclusion that Aniplex will release Saekano Flat and Fate/Apocrypha, while I'm pretty sure Funimation will get the BD rights to Rage of Bahamut: Virgin Soul pretty soon, and I'll assume that Crunchyroll will work out a deal with Sentai to release Food Wars! The Third Plate, so I will include those shows with those presumed licensors. So on that note, I place each simulcast that I completed and place it in one of these four tiers:

($) Purchasing: I have every intention of buying the BD for this show.
(+) Strong Interest: I am very interested in getting it, but I'm not fully committed to buying. A lot will depend on how it is released and the shape my wallet is in, but if I do have the cap space, these shows will be the first ones to be considered.
(-) Passive Interest: I have some interest in getting it, but unless a release blows me away or it gets better treatment than expected, then chances are I'll pass on it.
(X) Fuhgeddaboudit: Exactly as I mean, I have zero interest in getting it.

Winter 2017
(-) Koro-sensei Quest! (Funimation): It depends on whether I get the main AssClass series or not, but I definitely will have an open mind for this show.
(X) Super Lovers 2 (Funimation): Decent show, but BL ain't my thing, at least when it comes to buying the BD.
(X) Masamune-kun's Revenge (Funimation): Started well enough, total ugh! towards the end. Pass.
(X) Blue Exorcist: Kyoto Saga (Aniplex): Enjoyed the show, but I never bought anything Blue Exorcist with what Aniplex is charging.
(X) Fuuka (Funimation): It's an alright enough show. But getting through it once was a chore, so no thanks.
($) Inteviews with Monster Girls (Funimation): I very much enjoyed this show. It was lower on my interests until the Crunchyroll store had a deal I just couldn't say no to.
(-) ACCA: 13-Terrotories Inspection Dept. (Funimation): Pretty great show this ended up being after a slow start, so that will at least warrant consideration.
(+) Saga of Tanya the Evil (Funimation): This show was so great, and I'll strongly consider getting it.
(+) Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid (Funimation): Another fun show by KyoAni, so it's under strong consideration.
($) Tales of Zestiria the X season 2 (Funimation): I bought the LE for the first season, so it goes without saying.
(-) Scum's Wish (Sentai): The show had some pretty good drama, but otherwise not stuff that's worthy to be on my shelf. The dub gives it consideration at the very least.

Spring 2017
($) Attack on Titan season 2 (Funimation): I bought season 1, so I plan to add season 2 soon.
(-) Akashic Records of Bastard Magic Instructor (Funimation): It ended up being a decent show after a terrible start. So it's under consideration.
(-) The Royal Tutor (Funimation): This is a hidden gem as while it appeared to be one of those fujoshi bait shows, the story is actually a very good one. That said, it's not one I must own.
(X) Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend Flat (Aniplex): I didn't pay Aniplex prices to get season 1, so the same holds true with season 2.
(X) Clockwork Planet (Funimation): This show is just all sorts of disappointing. It's hard to believe that something from the same guy who did No Game, No Life could put out this piece of garbage.
(X) Love Tyrant (Funimation): It was funny the first time, but it got less so towards the end. So to put things into perspective, I just didn't fall in love with this show.
(X) Granblue Fantasy (Aniplex): Moving right along.
(-) Alice and Zouroku (Funimation): Solidly entertaining, but it's just that. I have bigger things to worry about.
(-) Grimoire of Zero (Sentai): This show started off well, but the storytelling got weaker as things progressed. Still highly enjoyable, just not to the point where it doesn't deserve anything beyond mild consideration.
(+) WorldEnd (Funimation): This was such a well-done roller coaster of emotion. The long title had me thinking it wasn't going to turn out well, but nevertheless it's a show I'll consider getting if things bounce the right way with my wallet.
(X) Kenka Bancho Otome: Girl Beats Boys (Funimation): This kind of show just isn't my thing, but being a short at least made it watchable. That said, not going to get it.
(-) Tsuki ga Kirei (Funimation): Great no-frills romance this is, but not exactly something I need to get the BD for.
(-) Kado: The Right Answer (Funimation): The drama is solid, but otherwise it's just another one of those shows lost in the shuffle.
(-) Is It Wrong to Try and Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Sword Oratoria (Sentai): I bought the first season LE, but this side story was just disappointing all-around. So my motivation isn't there, but I'm not completely ruling it out.
(-) Sakura Quest (Funimation): Very nice complement to the P.A. Works working series. While it had some flaws, it was greatly enjoyable. I'll wait until a complete season re-release comes before considering whether or not to get this.
(+) Rage of Bahamut: Virgin Soul (Funimation): I'm expecting Funimation to get the BD rights as this show went to Amazon thanks to their deal with Animeism, which was a huge shocker seeing that Genesis wasn't on MBS. That said, I got the first season LE, and I'm hoping Virgin Soul gets a LE, but Funi has been inconsistent in that regard (see AssClass).
($) My Hero Academia season 2 (Funimation): I bought the first season, so that makes me obligated to getting this one as it improves on the greatness of the first season. That said, I'm just up in arms with the way Funi handled the LE not only supesizing the box to hog shelf space, but they gave the second half of the season its own LE.

Summer 2017
(X) Owarimonogatari 2nd Season (Aniplex): I never bought anything from this franchise, so pass.
(-) Restaurant to Another World (Funimation)
(X) Love and Lies (Sentai): After a promising start, this show totally blew it at the end, so no deal.
(-) Tsuredure Children (Sentai)
(X) Hitorijime My Hero (Sentai)
($) Princess Principal (Sentai)
(X) A Centaur's Life (Funimation)
(-) In Another World With My Smartphone (Funimation)
(-) New Game!! (Funimation)
(+) Classroom of the Elite (Funimation)
(-) Gamers!! (Funimation)
(X) Convenience Store Boyfriends (Funimation)
(+) Made in Abyss (Sentai)
(-) Welcome to the Ballroom (Pony Canyon): While this show was great, unfortunately there's no telling how badly Pony Canyon will mess up the release, but if they put out something it's not going to be worth the price.
(X) Fate/Apocrypha (Aniplex): This show was just a huge disappointment. That's enough to put this show firmly in no-buy territory with Aniplex involved.

Fall 2017
(+) Recovery of an MMO Junkie (Crunchyroll/Funimation):
(-) UQ Holder! (Sentai):
(-) Konohana Kitan (Funimation):
(-) Kino's Journey: The Beautiful World -The Animated Series- (Crunchyroll/Funimation):
(-) Code:Realize (Funimation):
(X) Blend S (Aniplex): Fun show, but not fun with the price tag Aniplex will put on it.
(-) Blood Blockade Battlefront and Beyond (Funimation):
(+) Girls' Last Tour (Sentai)
(-) Anime-gataris (Funimation)
(+) Himouto! Umaru-chan R (Sentai)
(-) Just Because! (Sentai)
(X) Our Love is Always 10cm Apart (Aniplex)
(+) Yuki Yuna is a Hero: Washio Sumi and Hero Chapters (Pony Canyon)
($) The Ancient Magus' Bride (Crunchyroll/Funimation)
($) Food Wars! The Third Plate (Crunchyroll/Sentai)
(-) March Comes in Like a Lion season 2 (Aniplex)

For now, I'm just listing it and I'll fill in my reasoning in a couple of days, as well as to get everything nicely color-coded.
